My husband and I went to The Cloister to celebrate our anniversary, and were blown away by this place! The service was particularly outstanding, mainly because everyone was extremely friendly (even remembering our names at the front entrance). There's so much to do: we walked the beach in the mornings, rode bikes, laid by the pool, and my husband took...

We visiting the Cloister for our summer family vacation this year. It is an impressive property with old world charm. The architecture of the buildings was truly beautiful. I really have no negative comments. The staff was friendly and helpful, always giving the kids special attention and making them feel welcome. Accommodations were spacious and clean. Grounds were beautiful. Great...

Third or fourth time is a charm. This place never disappoints. The service, the accommodations, the staff, activities and restaurants are all top notch. Great gym, spa, tennis, squash, pools and beach. I did notice a nice improvement in the quality of food and service in the restaurants - the Executive Chef - Dave Carrier - is a master at...

The Beach Club was highly recommended to us and so we traveled here with our 2 young kids today. We are shocked at the lack of customer service. Arrived early (3 pm) and so no one helped us unpack the car. We weren't allowed even to live park to change kids' diapers after a long drive. The first attendant took...

Please accept my sincere apology for the shortcomings noted in your review. Your experience with us was not at all in keeping with the gracious hospitality we strive to provide to every guest every day. One of our senior managers would like to speak with you either in person or by phone, if you’d be so kind as to call...

This is our second visit here. Excellent from the time we arrived until we left. Rooms are large and with all amenities. Great customer service through out the property. Highly recommend staying here.

This is a large holiday resort on the glowingly popular and lavish Golden aisles that offers a gym, spa, pools, beach, golf, multi sports and much more. It's a place for relaxing, fitness, training or leisure. With on site changing facilities with all kinds of toiletries and provisions and resort bar and restaurant, it truly is in a league of...

Thank you for your kind remarks about Sea Island. I am glad that you enjoyed your time here and find the resort to be “in a league of its own.” Guests of the resort have access to all amenities, dining and activities, without a membership fee. They simply pay for golf, their meals and other activities. A club membership is...

My husband, 17 yr old AND friends stayed there over July 4th, this summer and rented a Beach Club Suite, 313 and 315. It was WONDERFUL! The rooms were very spacious. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was like I was staying in my own home. The location was perfect for us. We faced the ocean and looked over the...

Great stay on all fronts. The facilities and service are as strong as you will find in the South. Room was beautiful, service impressive and dining was excellent. This is a true five star resort that mixes old world grace and new world modern amenities. Only thing lacking is the beach is subpar when compared to nearby south Carolina and...

Fantastic location, golf, service, rooms and activities. Very good food. Expensive but well worth it. Probably the best family (couple and two teenage boys) resort in the continental US, and also good for couples (the Lodge) and young families (the Beach Club).

Sea Island is first class all the way in every category. From arrival to departure we were treated wonderfully the entire stay. We especially loved the conveninece of the ocean residences which included a full kitchen and washer dryer.. The best part was the private beach in the front. While walking distance to the main beach, we were separate from...

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay at The Cloister Ocean Residences. I am very happy to hear that “from arrival to departure you were treated wonderfully” and that our team made you feel comfortable the entire trip with your son’s food allergies. I hope to welcome you and your family back soon.
