We stayed at the lodge and took advantage of the Valentine's Weekend Package. The lodge itself is clean and the accommodations were suitable. The owners, John and Ginavre were helpful with questions about the area and local wineries. Each morning's breakfast was delicious. But what we really enjoyed was the monthly Georgia Winemakers Dinner. The food was phenomenal. With each...

My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary .....in Tybee Island Georgia! But then Hurricane Matthew interrupted our stay! So we had to think fast! Thank goodness my wife found this jewel in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Northern Georgia. What a delightful visit we had here! We stayed Thursday through Sunday 10/6 - 10/9 and just had a...

This is a very nice lodge near Helen GA. They are renovating several rooms and we stayed in the most recently renovated room. It was beautiful. The homemade breakfast each morning was great and we really enjoyed the complimentary winetasting.

First we love the Wine Adventure Guide and his wife the Event Outfitter that work there - Ted and Louisa Videki -- they do a fantastic job of taking care of you. You learn all about wine with a great pairing of foods. If you really schedule your weekend there you can have a wine dinner that night that adds...

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 20th anniversary. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. We were able to sample wines, enjoy jazz music that was playing and had the beer dinner that night. The dinner was fantastic! Breakfast the next morning was equally delicious and I recommend the pancakes! The owners of the...

We stayed at Sylvan Valley Lodge for one night to celebrate our 20th anniversary. It is located right outside of Helen in a quiet, wooded location. The lodge has a wine tasting room/eating-lounging area downstairs. Ted, the wine guy, was great. He was extremely knowledgable about all of the wines. He also recommended a great restaurant to celebrate our special...

The pictures online represented a nicer lodge. Although our room was "renovated" the hall rugs were filthy and old. Our server at breakfast was unfriendly and wouldn't smile. More importantly, I was VERY disturbed after realizing the culprit of the overwhelming stench of urine in our bathroom was the shower curtain. When I informed the front desk. NOTHING! They still...

Although this is a lodge it also has a tasting room attached. We were in Helen GA for the day and happened upon the unicoi wine trail. This was our first stop and I am so glad it was. They offered a wide range of wine and even a few beers and ciders. We ended up leaving with 4 bottles....

I was disappointed on this place. I paid for 2 nights. We bought a "appetizer". It turned out that the item I bought for 5 dollars was skewers. 3 baby tomatoes on each stick, maybe 3 squares of cheese on each stick about an inch by a inch along with a few small pieces of lettuce. Cabin 23 was nice....
