This is by far my favorite place to stay on Saint Simons. It's a charming little building surrounded by live oaks dripping with Spanish moss, palm trees, and other greenery. Rooms are clean and attractive. There's a lovely central courtyard with a small swimming pool and tables and chairs. Most of the rooms look out on that courtyard and there...

This place has character and well located in the village of St Simons and within easy walk to the beach. The original cottage/office was built in the 30's but the surrounding buildings were constructed about 15 years ago in the same architectural style as the original building. The rooms are small (such as you find in many European hotels) but...

The Pub/Inn had been a favorite retreat in the past. This time however, we were disappointed that the inn had deteriorated and was in poor condition. The carpet was very dirty, the paint dingy, the vents dusty and the bathroom/vanity area left a lot to be desired. We do not recommend this inn until it has been renovated. After reporting...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Village Inn and Pub this past weekend. I always rely on TA reviews and try to remember to post one myself after I have visited to help other people out. The Inn is very quaint and what's not to love about a pub on-site! Our room was nice and clean. The continental breakfast...

A nice place in an ideal location a short walk from the water. Many restaurants and shops worth checking out. The hotel is old but rooms are updated. The pub is fun and has live music Thursday , Friday and Saturday.

We were allowed to check in a little early, which was nice, and our room was fine - average at best. Location is good, right off the main strip, and the town is cute. They had live music that night, which we were looking forward to seeing. Unfortunately it was so crowded there was not even a place to stand....

While the rooms are very nice, don't overlook the word "Pub". At about 10:00 p.m. the patrons of the on-site pub empty out of the building and stand around the courtyard spinning tales and finishing their drinks. If you are staying in one of the rooms at the Inn, don't expect to get any sleep between 10 p.m. and midnight.

The rich wood in the original (1930s-era?) cottage which is used for breakfast, bar and check-in/out is beautiful. The property is a bit of a unique design with the rest of the inn built around the cottage - kind of captivating. Our room was updated nicely and had some modern touches like granite, and a tiny balcony. We were there...

We spend one night at The Village Inn and Pub. It was a lovely stay. Our room was quiet- on the side street and very comfortable. The room had plenty of towels and even two robes. The Pub has a wonderful happy hour and music. Great location to explore SSI.

We just spent a long weekend here. Everything is close by -- walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The inn has a wonderful, friendly, helpful staff and lovely rooms. After returning home, I realized I had left something behind. The extra effort the manager and staff took to quickly return my items to me was very much appreciated. This is...
