We visited for 3 days and stayed at the Mountain Creek Inn. We were somewhat disappointed in this facility, as it seemed like a holdover from the 1950s. No Mini Fridge, No microwave, Small room, and worst of all, one had to drive about a mile or so to get breakfast. Even though there was a restaurant on site, it...

After all seeing all the beautiful flowers on their website and hearing relatively good things about callaway gardens we decided to go ... Very disappointing. Their were almost zero flowers in bloom, all of their "gardens" are just green. We've been to other botanical gardens before and there has always been something in bloom throughout the seasons. I imagine that...

I do extend my sincerest apologies for your experience at Callaway Gardens. I would like to share with you that we are not considered a botanical garden. We are considered a woodland garden, meaning we like to showcase the native flora here in Callaway Gardens. While we do have quite a beautiful azalea display, both native and asiatic, you will...

We stayed at The Mountain Creek Inn which was remodeled in 2013. It's a great value and includes admission to the gardens. The room is nice and the bed was super comfy, and that's all we needed. We spent two days biking the newly remodeled trails around the lakes and through the forest. It was heavenly. Thanks, Callaway Gardens for...

This is a review of the Mountain Creek Inn. I don't understand why there are not separate review listings for each of the four Callaway lodging properties. The others are much better than this one, I'm sure. Nothing ticks me off more than to arrive with an unexpected surprise -- like we don't have an elevator! They tell you all...

I've heard about Callaway for years, but I picked a bad year to visit. Not only were the azaleas not in bloom, but this year a late freeze killed off most of the azalea blossoms throughout the Southeast. So my expectations were modified already. But I did expect something more "gardenish" and less woodsy. I have woodsy at home. I'm...

Dear Vickie M, We were saddened about the azaleas and other blooms this year, as well. We do hope for a beautiful summer and fall, though. We hope that you will come back and visit later in the year for some beautiful sites. Best, Cherise Romney Hotel Manager

My wife and I visited Callaway Gardens while visiting the Warm Springs, GA area. It was our first visit, although we both knew many people who visited Callaway over the course of many years and raved about it. My honest opinion is that there was nothing dazzling about anything we saw that day. To be fair, we could not see...

Dear Lex56, First of all, I have brought your comments regarding the map inside the Mountain Creek Inn to the attention of our Marketing Director who is working to replace it with an updated version. We are working diligently to bring Callaway Gardens back to it's former glory with some amazing plans. We do believe that you will be pleased...

The people (Especially a lady named Wendy) That worked with us to book our stay were beyond helpful and friendly. We stayed in a two Br. Two bath cottage in the pines. Not only was it spotlessly clean, it was spacious and well equipped. We would definitely recommend it for two couples or a family of four.

Please let this pitiful Inn die in peace ! My visit on April 6, 2017 was terrible. Even Motel 6 has coffee in the lobby ! Had to beg for extra coffee packets. Before 4:00pm only place to eat is MILES away. Only ice available on 2 nd floor----NO elevator for handicapped. So sad to see this icon in such...

We enjoyed our mid week stay but the add on charges were a big surprise. We received a rate of $107 then they added a resort fee of $15, for what a TV or WIFI which I didn't need because there was nothing open except a coffee shop then there were the taxes, "State hotel/Motel fee, $5 then the GA...

Dear Richard E, I do apologize if you feel that you did not get a wonderful value for the cost. However, we have no control over taxes added to our rates. Thank you for your visit and your kind words. The cold weather was tough on the azaleas but the Mountain Laurel and Rhododendrons are blooming now and are beautiful. We are so glad that you enjoyed your visit and look forward to your return soon.
