The grounds, the lodge, the rooms have an upscale look. The desk staff are very welcoming. The parking is convenient and free (no mandatory valet!). The Friday night seafood spread is well worth it, with a special nod to the shrimp and grits station. Avoid the spa. Both my wife and myself had body treatments that were amateurish at best...

Our son is stationed at Ft Benning in Airbourne and RASP. This is our 2nd stay at this Marriott. So, so nice. Staff is wonderful as well as accommodations. Very flexible with our check in and check out. Ironwood Bar fed us as we arrived late. Did so very graciously. I will return each graduation we attend. Thank you!

The rooms are OK. Cheap bedding that doesn't fit. The hotel is very noisy. Sounds like elephants above the room. Doors slam etc. Checked in after noon and breakfast dishes still sitting in the hall in the room next to mine. Disgusting. In the morning, sitting directly in the middle of the hall, is this cart with paint cans and...

We wanted to go to Galloway Gardens for the Christmas lights. Got a Grupon for a great rate. Everything about this hotel was great, from the staff to the rooms. Great public areas, large room and home comfort. Separate shower in bathroom, it makes all the difference, with the stay they include complimentary entry to the park. A place not...

Attended a fundraiser for the Humane Society at Calloway and decided to spend the night at the lodge. Our room was very large with a king size bed, coffee maker an a flat screen tv. The bath had both a stand up shower and a separate soaking tub. The room was clean and well appointed. The heat work well since...

I stayed one night with a friend; we had a double room with a balcony. It was very clean and nice; the tub is separate from the shower, and we had plenty of closet space. We used the valet service, and sometimes we had to hunt down a valet, which wasn't too pleasant since it was a little cold out....

We rented 3 rooms for New Years day. We were able to procure early check-ins for two of the rooms, which can be unusual in a good way at Callaway Gardens. Front desk staff helpful and friendly. Marriott prearranged late check out. Rooms were average; the positives were good bedding, nice views and updated bathrooms. Negatives were worn furniture, phone(s)...
