Typically stay at HIE in Milledgeville, but hotel was closed, with new hotel still under construction. Driving 30 miles wasn't even a consideration. Pleasantly Suprised from staff upon check in, cleanliness, amenities provided, Internet and breakfast choices. Quality of this hotel may have me reconsidering my lodging options going forward.

Second week of a business trip and bearing in mind the hotel in Philadelphia the week before, this felt like luxury. Very warm in Georgia the week i was there and was thankful for the aircon. Hotel nothing special, neither was the breakfast. Disconcerting with many police training officers walking around with guns in the breakfast lounge. Not used to...

We were going down the antebellum trail and stayed over here, it's a bit out of town but that was not an issue. Very clean, helpful staff reasonable buffet breakfast (included). Only down side was the guest washing machine was not working and they were not sure when it would be fixed.

From the parking lot all the way to the windowsill of your room this hotel is SPOTLESS and in completely good order. Nothing broken, cracked, aged, or faded. No stale odors, no lingering smell of cigarette smoke or odd "someone snuck a pet in" smells. The sheets and towels were not only fresh they were luscious in quality. The bed...

This is a wonderful hotel... clean, good food, nice staff. I'd stay here every time if I could. It's a bit spendy but the Marriott is always worth the extra. Beds are comfy, noise level is perfect and food it hot and good!

When I checked in I had two rooms. One was to be paid for by another card with another family member. They couldn't grasp that concept and not only did they fail to remedy that, they failed to charge my card the bereavement price and instead charged full price. For BOTH rooms. Also there is a huge round thing sticking...

The Fairfield in Milledgeville is a perfect example of what one should expect from that Marriott brand; clean, well run and maintained property with a nice professional staff at a reasonable price. Always nice to not find a surprise, which are almost always never good, when staying at a branded property. Highly recommend staying here if your travels take you...

The room was clean and spacious only the aircondition was quite Noisy (can be switched off in the room). The breakfast is OK but only polystyrene plates and plastic knifes are available, bit of a low class standard. It is outside the towncentre of Milledgeville; A small but nice indoor pool, yaccuci and a poorly equipped fitness room is available

Pros: "Nice" hotel for Milledgeville, Georgia. Cons: Hotel hallways are not air conditioned and are uncomfortably hot. Toilet made LOUD dripping noises all night. In-room AC was LOUD and sounded like a diesel engine when it turned on and off. Sofa-bed was terrible quality, even for hotel sofa beds. One day housekeeping just skipped our room entirely. The hotel elevator...
