I traded my timeshare thru Trading Places and so I was offered the pool amenities at no charge. It is an older resort , the unit we had was in good condition. The kitchen floor was dingy. There is suppose to be an inventory completed after each visit, but we had broken salad tongs and only 4 teaspoons. After a call... More

We've stayed in many Bluegreen resorts and this was by far our least favorite. Usually, we love staying with Bluegreen. The actual community of Big canoe has several amenities, but unlike other Bluegreen resorts, the resort itself has zero. With that said, you have to pay a fee, pretty hefty I might add, to go swimming, play tennis or use... More

Cabin was old, but very clean. It was obvious that the cabins were being refurbished and repaired. Heating system had problems as it was always too cold in living areas and too hot in bedrooms & bathrooms. Kitchen was very tight, but usable. Fireplace with composite logs made it very cozy. Good views of surrounding woods and deer in backyard.... More

My family of 5 stayed here for our Spring Break in March. I've never thought of myself as a hotel snob, but this property tested my limits. I will start with the unit. When we arrived, the unit was clean, but had an 'old' smell. It probably had been closed up for some time. While it was not a musty... More

My husband and I spent a week here in April 2013 and used our Bluegreen Timeshare points. The villas were built in the the 70s and are in the process of being renovated. Our villa was large with 2 bedrooms, 2 balconies, a loft, a full kitchen and a large living room. If you are looking for luxurious accommodations, this... More

My family met my parents and sister's family here, with 2 villas rented. Each was rustic in design and furnishings, but nicely appointed and comfortable. The kitchens were fully equipped for our needs, and the beds were comfortable. There were 3 bedrooms (one in the loft), and 2 full bathrooms. Nothing too luxurious, but all nice. We loved the quiet... More

A great place to get away from it all. If you want to get out it's only a short drive to outlet shopping in Dawsonville, hiking at Amicalola and sight-seeing in Helen, Ga. Grocery store, gas and fast food nearby.
