Despite an issue of it being very warm in the hotel (even with the heat turned off in our room), we still loved the place and will definitely be back. We never got to use the gas log fireplace in the room though because we were still so warm. Ended up having to open the balcony door to get it...

The Inn is elegant without being pretentious. Ask a staff member to tell you about the history of the spectacular windows and chandelier in the lobby. The two standard rooms we saw are the size of suites in most hotels and have divine beds. (We thought the sheets were a little too well-ironed, though.) We chose a street side room...

Fantastic room, awesome comfortable bed and I loved the fireplace in the room! We chose the front side of the hotel because it overlooked a park. They downplayed the noise from the street which made it difficult to sleep. Next time I will stay on the other side of the hotel. Great walking distance to all of the antique stores...

This very upscale inn in the lovely rural town of Madison, GA qualifies as a very upscale small "hotel" and wonderful venue for an individual night or two, a great small corporate retreat or, in our case, the site of a family gathering. The rooms are delightful, upscale and most comfortable, the inn itself quite lovely, the breakfast more than...

Everything about our stay was lovely. The room was beautiful, spacious and very relaxing. Jennifer and Judi both went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We especially appreciated all the little details in the room - lots of pillows, throw blankets for napping, a hairdryer and an iron/ironing board in the room. Everything we could possibly need. The...

Met friends for a weekend get away. Staff was exceptional. Complimentary breakfast was good. Rooms were very classy. Lots to do within walking distance. Would love to visit again. We had no issues with the street side room. Traffic noise was not a problem.

We had our daughter's wedding in Madison. Our family was very impressed with the caring, attentive staff here. They went beyond our expectations. It was a wonderful stay, and we would recommend it to anyone hosting a wedding, having a family reunion, or visiting Madison.

The rooms are super nice but might be the loudest hotel rooms ever due to 1) thin walls where you can literally hear the guy on the phone in the room next to you 2) you feel like the person above you will fall through the ceiling into your room and 3) the truck traffic on the road out front...

Based on TA reviews, we stayed in a King suite on the "market side" for 1 night. I normally would have selected the "park view" but was happy that TA reviewers suggested the quieter market side. The 2nd floor room was elegant, spacious and had a shared balcony overlooking the parking lot & adjacent shops. While the room was on...

We stayed only one night. I75 was like a parking lot on the Sunday after thanksgiving so we decided on the back roads. This took us to Madison GA. What luck. A wonderful small town, like a step back in time. Right off Main Street is the James Madison Inn. Wonderful large rooms with fireplaces and easy chairs, large bed...
