We had planned for a two night stay but inclement weather meant the first night was spent tucked up in a hotel. We arrived the second day and the front desk staff were very nice and had actually moved our stay for the next two days- Scheduling didn't allow for that but it was still a nice touch. We didn't...

This was our second stay at Jekyll Island Campground. We love the island and hope to return for many years to come. The camp ground is so close to everything by bike or by car. However, after night 3 of 5 with no hot water in the bath house, my patience was running thin. Showering in public bath houses is...

Wooded sites. But not enough room for large campers. Some spots are close. Price is adequate for families. Good Sam discount is available. Many animals to see. Cable is added at no extra cost. Added cost for pets. Great WiFi and cell phone strength. Much to do on island. Biking, horse back riding. Cost extra 10 dollars to get on...

What a clean and wonderful place. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Loved everything about it. Will be staying again. We were about to have our dog and there was always a bags in the pet stations. Loved the shade and that there is easy access to everything. The bathrooms and shower house were clean and from where we...

We're tent campers, so our opinion comes from that perspective. Perhaps our expectations were too high, but we were disappointed by what this campground offers for people camping with tents. We arrived early in the afternoon, when the tent section was nearly empty, and were told by the unfriendly staff in the office that the one site that we actually...

It was very peaceful and shaded and everyone camping was respectful. The staff was amazing. I loved hanging out just in the campground while i was visiting. When I go back to Jekyll, I will absolutely stay again.

We just we staying here as a stopping point along the way, but it was so nice. The staff was very nice, easy to get in and out, very reasonable price and in a great location. Bring your bike, there is a path around the whole island. Lots of good food options, and be sure to see all the driftwood...

Park was sparsely populated and quiet! Very Quiet. Rode our bikes each day and enjoyed great food at the local restaurant (Rah Bar). Bath houses were very clean and convenient. We had a level spot not all are that way. No paving, lots of sand. They did water the roads to keep dust down but still dusty. We still had...

We had a good stay in a tent at the camp ground. The camp ground is on a quiet stretch of the island, an easy walk to a jetty and walking tracks to the marshland and beach. The camp ground itself had very clean showers and bathrooms, for tent campers water and electrical outlets available in the bathroom buildings. Free...

This campground is a beautiful place to stay. There is lots of shade and the staff is friendly. The campground store is good and offers many things you may need while camping as well as cute souvenirs. Bike rentals are available too for very reasonable prices, and we plan to do that on our next visit. The only issue is...
