This is our second stay here. Great location on the island but very buggy. We might look at Brunswick next time. Full hookups with cable are nice and price is very reasonable. Close to a lot of the attractions and St Simons.

We had to make reservation way in advance to obtain two sites together as we planned to camp with our Daughter’s family. We stayed the weekend of Sept 23, 2016. We had 2 pull through sites near the front next to each other. We camped in a 35’ Class A and our daughter’s family in a Popup. The girls at...

This park is a dump . Lots are covered with leaves pine needles branches and lichen . When we got out of Rv we were attacked by black flies and mosquitoes drawing blood I'm covered in bites ended up spraying ourselves with off plus the dogs just to get this Rv parked and hooked up . 20 mins after we...

We have stayed here many times in a tent, popup and our travel trailer. We have pretty much been in any site offered including primitive tent camping. The sites are shady, sometimes mosquitoes are a problem but the last several times we have stayed they really haven't been bad and I am someone who always gets bit. Bring mosquito repellant...

It had been a few years since we have visited the campground. Last couple of times were not that good because of the loud partiers. This time it was so peaceful. The rules must be enforced now. Had a nice wide site although most sites are very close together. Do have a problem with reservations. You now have to call,...

Our first time at Jekyll Island Campground. Very quiet and relaxing place to camp. Nice shady campsites. Office staff were very friendly and helpful. A good location on the island. Near the fishing pier and Driftwood beach. Free wifi which we had no problems with and about 70 cable channels!! Will definitely go back but hopefully for a longer stay...

The campground staff were very nice, spaces were big and it was nice to have 2 sets of restrooms/showers on site. Lots of shade and cool little bird sanctuary. Within walking distance to Driftwood Beach and if you have bikes, great location to explore the island from. Red ant hills were a problem in our site, but felt we paid...

So my family and I booked a camping trip at Jekyll Island, being we are really into the beach thing in all, we were really excited about the trip. The camp ground was average, meaning nothing spectacular. The campground was really tight, and if you are pulling in there with a large camper, I hope your really good at backing...

Overall experience was good. All sites are very shady with Live Oaks with Spanish Moss hanging. The camping fees are reasonable as well as LP gas refills, store supplies, etc. The campground is very close to a great beach (Driftwood Beach) which was never crowed. There are bike paths everywhere on the island. You'll never run out of biking or...

Excellent campground. The lots are large and well shaded. There is a beautiful little bird sanctuary with benches. You can sit and watch the birds and squirells while you drink your cofee. The staff are very courteous. I would love to stay there again.
