We recently, in May/June this year made our way down the South Coast to Munster, not sure what to expect as we haven't been down this part of the world in many, many years. Husband I were reminiscing about our younger years and what we remembered. It was late and we were awfully tired when we arrived at Ocean Grove... More

Arthur & Ursula were just fantastic. We could not have felt more at home and they really went the extra mile. The sea views were fantastic and we woke up each morning looking out over the sea. A great place to stay if you're looking for something in the area between Margate and Port Edward.

Arthur and Ursula and their two labradors will welcome you upon arrival. The house is a gem with a huge pool overlooking the ocean surrounded by extensive and spacious lush gardens. The entire Port Edward area is a horticultural microclimate where everything is green and verdant. We wished that we could have stayed for more than one night. Breakfast near... More

Ocean Grove was our first B&B experience and we won't go back! The guest house is well positioned with a huge garden, beautiful sea views and the most incredible pool. Ursula and Arthur were exceptionally attentative, offering beach chairs, cooler bags and every extra you can think of. They even went as far as to locate a Chiropractor for me.... More

My family and I have stayed at numerous guest houses and hotels over the years both here and overseas and this was definitely among the best. We enjoyed a memorable three night stay (could have stayed three weeks!) Lovely comfy room with a patio overlooking the swimming pool and the sea beyond. Delicious breakfasts (loved Ursula’s version of Eggs Benedict)... More

My husband and I are a young couple, of 28 and been married 5 years. This is our first time we got to get to go on holiday to the sea by ourselves. IT was like our honeymoon, and we chose Ocean Grove because we wanted to be close to the beach and required special catering needs as we are... More

We are from the U.K, and we first visited this lovely guest house 3 years ago, and have been going back ever since. Arthur and Ursula are excellent hosts. We arrived as guests, and left as friends. The rooms are very comfortable and beautiful. After having a lavish breakfast, a full day can be spent just wandering around the lovely... More

Highly recommended. Accommodation and hospitality were of a very high standard. Breakfasts were excellent and the wonderful seaviews were an added bonus. Arthur and Ursula were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. Thank you both for a lovely stay. Will definitely be returning!

The unique setting of this stunning section of coastline (where whales frolic!) coupled with the warm but understated attentiveness of our hosts, Arthur and Ursula, made our business trip to the nearby Mbizana all the more memorable - especially the sense of "coming home" in the evening - treated to fine wines, a cheese platter - and intelligent, discreet company....
