In the middle of the gorgeous Moravian wine region, this little place is a real gem. We didn't stay there overnight but had a fantastic lunch. It is a beautiful place, full of colours and arranged with taste. The food is fresh, gorgeous (colourful as well) and of course the most important: extremely tasty. This place is definitely worth a...

Every autumn we meet with our friends in Mikulov. Tradition since 5 years is also to visit Cafe Fara. What to say about this place? Just paradise! Every year they improve the neighborhood of the Cafe, every year they improve the look and the taste of the food. We always try some unusual taste, home made lemonades or cakes. The...

We were very disappointed there, so we are not so happy about writting any review for this place. The place looks very nice and that is all what was nice there. The staff, food, drinks - the "wine" and "spa" should be much, much better. This place can be a 5 star hotel with a "Bib" restaurant, but somebody must...

We visited Cafe Fara from Mikulov during our visit using the public bus (very easy). We had an amazing meal of young chicken, calf neck and beetroot tartar, all served with splendid accompaniments. Everything was beautifully presented as tasty as! We couldn't decide what we liked best. The ambiance was great and we sampled (although did not love) the homemade...

We were driving through the city but decided to stop for lunch. That's happened that we stayed for 2 hours at this small and good restaurant. Food was cooked perfectly, dessert menu was short but very clever done. Dishes were presented in a very modern way. That's what you're not expecting from small restaurant you just stop by.

Very nice restaurant, with excellent food and professional staff. It goes about nice complex of restaurant, cafe, museum, relax zone with swimming pool and also couple of rooms. I did not expect such a restaurant in the small village. The price is rather low in comparison to other restaurants in Mikulov (with poorer service etc.) Try to test the soups,...

For a cafe experience like no other, visit this old Rectory perched over rolling vineyards near Mikulov - with a shed for your pet (bicycle), plus hammocks and bean-bags to rest your weary legs. Delectable range of coffees and teas, plus the Fara herbal infusion on ice, with an imaginative menu, home-made soup and delicious sweets - all combine to...

I like the ambiance of the place although it was kind of marred by the smokers (same as a lot of places in Czech Republic). We were a group of mainly English speakers and the waiters handled some of our more demanding members well enough. Problem was not everyone got their meal or had to ask two or three times...

We spend 3 days at Cafe Fara in "Rajsky room". The room was nice, clean and spacious. Cafe Fara crew was very helpful and every time with the smile on the face. The food was excellent but a little bit overpriced. The price for room is a little bit overpriced too but there was a really nice atmosphere and we...

Knowing this place well, but don't have an experience with accommodation, because I live close by. It's unique place, It's not a restaurant, but you can chose some main food. What would be great to keep this place in perfect condition is to improve and train more summer staff, sometimes it take long time.

“re rating - no swimming pool, but you can admire view on Nove Zamky dam from Dívčí hrady view point, no fitness center, but you can enjoy beautiful walks or cycling (you can rent a bike directly in Cafe fara) in Palava region re room - all the rooms are fine, but the Heaven room is clear winner”
