Juan and Alejandro are great hosts ever. They are very helpful with currency exchange, tour booking, renting vehicles, restaurant recommendation, getting taxi, and even they can take care of accidents of customers too. They speak great English too. This place you can rent Gopro, Snorkeling gear. There is a kitchen so you can buy food an cook it for yourself....

We had a really great time at the blue almond hostel and felt really welcome. Juan and Alejendro are great hosts and like two fathers of a big family. What we specifically liked is how inhclusive Juan was and how he tried to involve everybody in the group. Also, expect some great tips for activities and restaurants. If you want...

We have spend 3 nights at Blue Almond Hostel, and while we did a trip to Providencia, the staff from Blue Almond was nice enough to store our big bags that we couldn't bring with us on the small plane. Also when I lost my phone and contacted Juan to check if I maybe left it in the hostel, they...

I loved my stay at blue almond and didn't want to leave anymore! It's because of the personal touch, the people and the social atmosphere that it was the best hostel I have ever been too. Juan, Jenny and Alejandro make you feel welcome from the start and it feels more like staying with a family than in a hostel....

Great hostel, great atmosphere. Stayed here in November during a tropical storm. You can imagine how important the hostel was. Something that made me feel really welcome is how they tried to include everybody and connect everybody by saying: hey x, do you know x already? ***** five star recommendation, great atmosphere. - 10 minutes in the taxi to airport...

Stayed here for 5 nights and I just had a perfect time in this hostel. It starts with the welcoming, Jenny and Juan really make you feel at home straight away, introducing you to everyone which was a definite first for me. Slept in the 5 bed dorm which was very spacious and clean, lockers had electric sockets in it,...

Arriving to the Blue Almond Hostel was like reading a sign saying: EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON! Since the first minute, this experience was magic. You feel like coming home after a long trip where people call you by your name 5 minutes after your arrival. It is the best spot where to get some good rest (rooms are very...

Alejandro is indeed a nice and enthousiastic host. And other guests where indeed nice. But the matresses in the private Rooms where just awfull. Like sleeping in a hole. The matresses in the dorms are a lot better. The common area is very small and mostly inside. The kitchen area is nice. The owner was playing Xbox al lot with...

Deark Auke, we are sorry that you didn't like the beds in our hostel, but you never voiced your dislike of the mattresses while you were here, keep in mind that mattresses are like sex, some people like it hard and some people like it soft, had you told us while you were here, we would have changed the mattress...

I really liked the Blue Almond hostel and would like to recommend it to any traveler planning to spend a few days on San Andres island. I spent four days here in November. Originally I had flown to San Andres for scuba diving. Unfortunately, the weather was a catastrophe – it was so rainy and windy that the coastguard grounded...
