This property features a return to nature without any electronics or modern day interferences. The sleeping rooms are comfortable - bunk beds only. The property offers one large men's and one large ladies room and private toilet rooms. Meals (breakfast and dinner) are country style which makes for great conversations. The food was mixed - some excellent and others mediocre....

This was my fourth visit and my daughter's first. She wanted to hike during her fall break but didn't want to travel far so I lucked into a last minute reservation. The moderate-strenuous hike in perfect fall weather took us up the mountain to a gorgeous getaway. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and delicious food made for a completely enjoyable staycation...

This was our second visit. My wife and I were as impressed as on the first time there, almost two years ago. And because we liked the overall experience so much, we already reserved a room for next spring. Len Foote Hike Inn is in a class by itself in the Southeast USA. But it does not appear to be...

Love this place. A strenuous 5 mile hike in behind Amicalola Falls. Then greeted by friendly staff, a bed, home cooked meal and a hot shower. Great to sit around a fire in the lodge room after supper. Don't sleep in and watch the sun rise. I've already booked another trip!

Nice little get-away tucked in the mountains of north GA. Clean bunk rooms, good food and a very friendly staff! 4.8 mile hike in/out is very doable within 2-3 hours. Love the relaxing break from cell phones and email. Bring a good book and a forget about the rest of the world for the weekend.

A group of lady hikers and I hiked up and down the trail to the Len Foote Hike Inn, at times the "up the trail" was a challenge, lots of stones and roots, however, "down trail" was a delight, of course also stones and roots. On the way we saw a black bear, about 400/500 pounds. He looked friendly, but...

A needed time away from the hustle and bustle of Atlanta. Easy drive up, nice hike and simple accommodations. Food was excellent and getting to meet wonderful and like minded new people. Showers were super. Porch with rocking chairs and a nice game room for relaxing.

An overnight trip with my 2 grandchildren. The 5 mile hike in is moderate and took about 3 hours. A wonderful lodge awaited us at the end of the trail. Food was great and the accommodations are rustic but cozy. The sunrise room had group games and outdoors was corn hole. That evening there was a group participation drum circle...
