On arriving at Stony Creek Bush Camp we were a bit concerned that we had not made a good choice. It looked very dry and dusty and was at the end of a dirt road.
However Wayne made us very welcome and we were able...More
Small, peaceful park. Sites well spaced. Just find one to suit you. Plenty of trees. Lots of birds. On the creek. Meals available--- good quality, reasonably priced, basic food. Out of town a bit, worth the drive. Facilities basic but clean. Plenty of hot water...More

Sorry-I missed the fact you are from overseas. Yes-you pay for a "powered site" in the camp ground and it will have electricity. You can also get an "unpowered site" for a slightly lower price.

Hi, we're planning to spend a couple of nights in mi September, we have a 19 ft caravan, a powered sight would be nice but not essential.
Do we need to book ahead?

Love the sound of the reviews I've read and this sounds just like the sort of camp my hubby and I enjoy. We are hoping to head to the Flinders in July/August 2015 and was wondering if you have a special winter rate for pensioners on a POWERED site - we are intending to stay for 2 weeks. We have two small dogs and a 10ft caravan+a gazebo and would prefer a bush or creek site apart from other campers - do you have anything suitable for around the 25th July for approx 2 weeks?
