Walk through the double doors and enter a large lobby. Check in is easy. Ride the elevator up to the second floor where you're greeted by parakeets, cockatiels, a grandfather clock, a cozy sitting area, and large breakfast area. From there are two wings, east and west. We stayed in room 220/222. Each room had a full size bed, comfortable...

Stayed for a week while on vacation (beach, universal (~20 minutes), Disney (~30 minutes)) Had two rooms (one with two beds for kids) separated by a bathroom. Customer service / personal touch is above and beyond. Enjoyed the breakfast each morning. Older venue but well taken care of by four families that live on site. Would recommend and stay again....

My wife and I have enjoyed staying here several times. It's a great place for a quick and relaxing get away. The staff is always so nice and helpful. The location is great. We always enjoy the farmers market on Saturday morning only a block away. We also had enjoyed the City's free Blues & BBQ event.

We stayed one night while on a bicycle tour. Check in was easy and they do a thorough job of explaining all the unusual aspects of their wonderful hotel. They have done an excellent job of restoring the building and rooms to like they were when it first opened. There is a dining room with coffee, water and shacks. Breakfast...

The hotel is similar to a European Bed and Breakfast. It is a refreshing change from nondescript modern hotels and motels. It is quirky and old fashioned, but you will be made so welcome that it will feel like home. You can wander into the dining/ lounge and help yourself to drinks and snacks and don't feel confined to your...

We had a lovely one night stay in the refurbished 1920s Edgewater Hotel B and B. Our plan was to celebrate a birthday at the Chef's Table without having a longish drive home after dinner. We found the service kindly and hospitable and overall the stay was good. The elevator was a fun experience. We used it checking in and...

I spent the weekend at the Edgewater Hotel with a friend and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to get away to a beautiful quaint town. The hotel employees were so pleasant to talk with and extremely helpful. I felt like I was in a place of tranquility and surround by generous, loving people. Their knowledge of...

Three couples spent the weekend at the Edgewater and biked the wonderful West Orange Trail, which runs right outside the front door. Winter Garden is a neat town with several good restuarants and sidewalk cafes and fun shops. The Edgewater retains much of its 1920's charm; rooms are adequate, but not luxurious. A small annoyance was a problem keeping the...
