If you're looking for unspoiled nature and no tourists, you have to go to Dominica! A beautifull island with pure rainforest, blue sea, little white and black beaches and the nicest people! And if you want to enjoy it to the max, you have to come to Crescent Moon Cabins, a lovely small eco-lodge in the middle of nowhere. The... More

My husband and I stayed at Crescent Moon Cabins on our honeymoon and it is to date one of the most unique experiences either of us has ever had. Our 5 days there were amazing overall!! The three cabins are located in a rainforest within 2 walking hours of the Caribbean. The poor roads make it difficult to get from one place to another but the beauty of the island makes up for this inconvenience. The staff, Ron, Jean, and Tiana, were exceptionally knowledgable about Dominica and extremely helpful with our daily arrangements for seeing the... More

If nature is your number one priority (It certainly is mine!) and you love slow food (cooked to perfection) this is thé place to visit. At Crescent Moon Cabins you really feel welcome. There are only 4 cabins so it is never crowded and the only 'noise' comes from the birds, insects etc.Just sitting on your balcony hearing the song... More

The American hosts have clearly big joy and pleasure running their cabins with lots of love and passion. Fantastic food, truly above expectations (can compete with 15 Gault Millau)! Very, very bumpy road to get there - nothing for tender nerves. 4wheel drive, car compulsory in our opinion. Stunning location and view; wildlife included. Large, private cabins but not luxiourious.... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was a wonderful experience. Ron, Jean and Tiana were fabulous hosts and accommodated us in every way possible. They have a fantastic knowledge about the island and the people and recommended a superb guide for our hike to the boiling lake. Ron's cooking was stunning and their use of their own grown... More

wake up to the sounds of chickens and goats...go to sleep to the sounds of frogs and the patter of rain on the roof...and wildly howling winds in the palms and other trees. We loved it. The food was creative, innovative and home grown. Ask for the ground nut cheesecake, home made ice creams, soups and incredible salads with luscious... More

Crescent Moon is known for delectable, organically homegrown meals inspired from the onsite greenhouse and prepared with world food, slow food values. Coffee and cocoa are home roasted, bread baked daily, and fresh eggs collected each morning. The self guided farm walks in the valley are a gentle, natural immersion for families and birdwatchers. For those seeking hiking adventures the cabins are within walking distance to the Middleham Falls trail head and Segment 4 of the Waitikubuli National Trail. The Morne Trios Pitons and Segment 5 trails are just a short drive from the cabins. David, our onsite certified local tour guide, is also available for Boiling Lake treks and excursion tour packages. Situated at the end of a peaceful mountain valley road, Crescent Moon Cabins is the perfect retreat for sunsets, moonsets, and star laden skies.
