I don't do many hotel reviews but I'm inspired this time. So here goes: Loud: It's "off season" I'm told here now but stand back Jessica 'cause the music's loud. After a half day traveling (or a full day depending from where you travel) the last thing this weary traveller wants is to be bombarded with is some kinda mind numbing, club vibe, hip (I guess), DJ driven music rattlin' your eardrums. No thank you. Attitude: Should there be no issues with guest service/front desk then you'll probably enjoy your stay. The delightful Square is just a few minutes walk away. But don't take exception with any service or anyone at the hotel or you'll awaken a rude, pompous, argumentative, but somehow not surprising, attitude (in my case the front desk) and I dare say unfit for any position in a job that is considered "hospitality." That said: Hotel: ehhhhhhh...a 3 of 5 overall maybe. Location: mmmm....4. Room: (shrugs shoulders) low 4? High 3? Not bad. Nothing remarkable. No mini bar. Kinda spartan but I guess that's the biz model. Front desk: "what's that staffing companies phone number!?!? I need new help over here!!!!!!" A solid, well earned ONE (1). Valet: 5. The only option for parking I think and $38 a day. Pool: 5. Nice. Good view. Bar: 4. Good bartenders. Kinda odd menu. One of those where ya really can't find that item where ya wanna dig into and overeat and feel guilty later but rather one where ya pick something that's the least worst. Finally home now. It's peaceful and quiet here and nobody is rude to me.....just right to plan a trip somewhere else. Cheers!…
Get ready to be treated as a VIP. We just finished up with our first meeting in over a year and what an experience it was at the Canopy. The meeting rooms were a perfect setting for our team to experience. The rooms are well lit with floor to ceiling windows to help keep the energy high and the comforts to keep going. The team led by Krista Smith was exceptional. Every detail was thought of this past week. Working lunches have never been better with Serge taking care of us every step of the way. Between the top of the line lunches with wedge salads and tuna tacos to the beverage center always fresh and kept looking like it should be on a magazine cover. The guest rooms were just as terrific with a cutting edge industrial look and very comfortable. The location is in the heart of West Palm Beach walking distance to Clematis Street and many great restaurants. We can's say enough about the Canopy and the talent that will take care of you! Its a must visit and an exceptional place to host your meetings. Your team will thank you for having your event at this venue.…
We love this hotel. Even the valet is amazing. Each day we were greeted with a smile by Dakota. We will come again. The pool is fun, decor is on point, and front desk takes care of you. Modern and fun this is our go to hotel when we are in Palm Beach. Close to everything and dog friendly.
The entire valet crew was absolutely great. From the time I pulled up until I left someone was always there being attentive. The customer service is above and beyond great. These 3 guys deserve a raise Barry, Pierre and Tyrell .
Such a friendly welcome! Dakota, the valet, was amazing, patient, and made our welcome so enjoyable after a long drive! Thank you for a great start to our vacation! Front desk employees were amazing checking us in! Great rooms!
My husband had a weekend work trip and upon arrival the hotel was gorgeous. The rooms were clean, well-decorated, and spacious. The rooftop bar and pool are amazing! The restaurant downstairs is a great spot for breakfast with reasonable prices! My main and only concern with this hotel is that I felt like there were a bunch of hidden fees. Upon arrival (and like most hotels), they put a hold for incidentals. This was $75 a night which was very pricy. You also have to pay $38 for valet parking every night. Both fees I was anticipating, even though the incidental fee was much more than expected. But then on the 2nd day of our stay there was $250 credit card authorization that no one told me about nor did I agree to. I was supposed to stay another night but opted to check out a day early because I kept feeling uneasy about all these fees that no one mentioned. Overall, not a bad area, nice hotel, and friendly staff. But I would not stay here again unless I knew I would have an abundance of funds for all these fees that will eventually be returned to me at the end of my trip (which is not really useful since my vacation would be over.)…
We were greeted by Jennifer at the front desk who was amazing. She put us in a room with amazing views and gave us all the amenities that we definitely took part of. Santi, the shuttle driver took us everywhere we wanted to go and gave an amazing suggestion for an ice cream shop. The ladies at the Treehouse restaurant, especially Kelly, were very attentive, made great suggestions, and held our purse for hours when we mistakenly left it at the restaurant and found tickets for us to we nhoy complimentary cocktail hour. Angel gave us a great check out and Christina drove us to to the bright line station in style! Amazing stay. 10/10 would recommend.
Pros: Clean rooms with comfy beds. Electric golf cart with driver gets you around town Centrally located to lots of good attractions Cons: Brunch was a let down - don’t get salad. It was basic and lacked any form of elevation by the cook. Daily valet cost $38
Between the amazing and comforting staff and the scenery of palm beach, the Canopy offers all you would be looking for in this area! Jen at the front desk gave me a very warm welcome and chris came to pick us up after brunch with the hotel shuttle, I mean the vibe is just immaculate. Will be back for certain :)
Hotel staff was very nice, everything was clean and food was delicious! Claudio at the valet was very welcoming. One observation is that the pool deck could use more lounge chairs and umbrellas. But everything else was great!
