I don't understand people that pay a fraction of what the surroundings hotel charge, and expect the same luxury.
If you come to enjoy whatever Palm Beach has to offer, and you just need a place to sleep, this is it. If you are looking for other amenities, then feel free to pay 4X at any of the hotels in the area...

We had a great time in West Palm and enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Evernia. We parked at the Clematis street parking garage for $5 overnight on weekends. April and Omar were particularly helpful and friendly at the hotel.
Close to Norton Museum of Art and Ann Norton Sculpture Garden, also Flagler museum.

Great views and king bed in 302 and free coffee ☕ was nice. An old historical hotel from circa early 1900's, it was like stepping back in time. Keyless check in made it easy to get in your room no matter what time of day you arrive or if you forget your personal access code. Would stay again.

Unbelievably difficult to check in as there is NOBODY at reception. They provide a number to call in order to enter, and nobody answers that number. After waiting for more than 45 minutes, we called the travel agent who also attempted to call. No answer either. Finally someone allowed us to enter the premises. Filthy and bad noxious smells as if it had not been cleaned in months. In addition, because there was nobody in reception, questionable behavior was rampant. There were people coming in an out of rooms, as if the rooms were being rented out hourly for questionable behavior. Perhaps others might deem this acceptable, but this is definitely not for the traveler who appreciates peace, cleanliness and respectable behavior. Never never again.

Worse experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. First of all the check in experience past 12pm
Is something to behold but let’s get past that. My girlfriend and I walked into the room (with no bathroom) and there were bugs and debris on the bed. I told the property manager (Walter Frazier) this in the lobby the next day and he told me it’s because they fumigated the place 🤔 (sooo many gifs I want to use here)

That led to him kicking me out and calling me and my gf trash so no I will not be recommending this travesty of a hotel.

(Newly edited because of the owners response)

Now the owner wants to say that his or her staff did nothing wrong and there was nothing wrong with the room upon arrival….. then you’re saying I photoshopped those pictures with the bugs on my bed? Or am I lying when your property manger told me that they just fumigated the place so that’s why there might be bugs on the beds. Please reply again and say it’s the customers fault. That’s a great job on your part 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I am telling you guys DOOOO NOT GO HERE!!! No matter how cheap it is there are way better options than this shady hotel around the area. They don’t take accountability and the service sucks! I would take away the star but it’s not an option.

Good day

We apologize that you enjoyed a less than perfect stay with us. Our old-world charm is not for everyone; however, upon check-in and during your stay you had zero issue with your room. Then, upon departure you became hostile with one of our employees. We are very committed to making everyone's experience great. We can confirm the accusation you made about disrespecting you and your girlfriend were false/ There are many different hotels in the West Palm Beach area that you are welcome to check out next time.

Hotel Evernia is a gem. It is a step into life in West Palm Beach in early 1900's.
The Hotel is painted in Art Deco colors. The staff is terrific. The location is the best
because of the Brightline train station and tons of shops and restaurants found within a couple of blocks.

My friend and I were on the third floor with the shared bathrooms. There are 2 bathrooms with only a toilet and one with only a shower. It was great and we didn’t even know other people were on the floor! This hotel covered the basics! We had a fridge and mircrowave. It is INSANELY centrally located. Especially close to clematis street. We went back and forth quickly as the weather changed and we didn’t want to hold our sweaters. It is also a 4 minute walk from the brightline train that we took to Fort Lauderdale and there is a grocery store like a one minute walk away. April was awesome!! We’ll be back to see her for sure and to be in the best location in PB for a great price!!!!

Different ambience than a generic hotel and they where very accomodating allowing me to park my motorcycle on the side. The water in bathtub was super hot immediately. The bathroom was shared but it locked from my side and there were never any issues

If you have a problem with hauling your own luggage up some stairs, then this place isn’t for you. Other than that, it was PERFECT for me as a solo traveler. The hotel is built in the 1920’s or something like that. April, the front desk warrior was absolutely the best host. The manager did a great job correcting a billing error without issue. It’s a tiny, inexpensive gem in an expensive neighborhood.

Had everything I needed. Also the location is hard to beat.

There was a lot of things to do within walking distance. And it was easy to get in and out. The rooms are a bit dated, but they provided everything a light traveler would need. For the not so light traveler, there were places close by that you could walk to and get.
