Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
An older motel, but very clean. The beds were comfortable. Bathroom is very small, but exceedingly clean. Fridge, sink, microwave and a few dishes and silverware came in handy to reheat our leftovers from the nearby BBQ restaurant. We also got cereal and milk from the Aldi nearby as we found the attached restaurant a bit pricey. We would recommend this place for couples. It would be too small for more than two people to a room. There was a light musty odor when we first arrived, but after running the heater it went away. We will stay here again. We like to bike and you can get to the Venetian Waterway trail easily from here.

For an older Florida motel is was good. It looks like the owners are trying to make it better. The bathroom had been partially redone with new tub and surround as well as a new toilet, and nice wall tiles. The floor throughout the room had been redone in new floor tiles. It was equipped as advertised which was nice and parking was right in front of the unit door. The in ground pool was in a lovely court yard surrounded by motel rooms with lovely French doors as access. With all the good things there were a few things l think could be made better. For instance, the bed mattress and pillows were obviously old. Hard and uncomfortable. The woodwork and the doors desperately needed painting. The ceiling fan above the bed was so dirty you could see the dirt on the fan blades by simply looking up. And last but certainly not least, the floor was dirty as evidenced by my husband's white socks being worn inside turning black on the bottom. I feel if they corrected the things l found fault with this would be a five star place to stay.

Don’t let the exterior of this motel deter you. The exterior is a work in progress but the interior of the rooms is perfect. Excellently clean, new, tasteful furnishings, simple but just fine especially for the price. Our room, had a kitchenette and a couch plus comfortable king size bed. The inner courtyard has a pretty pool and family friendly Areas with a ping pong table, grills and a Ramada with table and chairs. The blu bistro was a amazing surprise- very cute and high quality fresh food. Highly recommend to step outside of the big chain box and support this well done local motel. Old fashioned quality in a new era.

Our biggest concerns with this place are safety issues and many updates are sorely needed. The room has no telephone-- they obviously assume that absolutely everyone has a charged cell phone which is NOT always the case. The room has a small smoke detector but no sprinkler system. Each room in this ground level motel has a screened bathroom window that opens to the outside. In our case the hole in the BR window screen was large enough to fit your arm through and unlock the window.

We stay at many hotels/motels throughout the year and have stayed at some very nice ones and then we stayed at this one. My major issue with this dump is the water leaking from the AC units. I fell soon after leaving the pool and the Clerk who was outside at the time just looked at me like it was my fault, and then went back to his little room. After I got up from the slimy path and went to sit in a chair by my room, my wife grabbed a washrag and we held it on my wound for about an hour. We decided not to do anything other than to get the bleeding to stop. We finished out our stay and checked out in time......Which was 11AM. Within in 5 minutes of our checkout we got a call from the hotel stating that since I had bleed on the pillow and a little bit on the sheets they were going to charge us an additional $150.00. WHAT? Do not stay at this place!

Insanity. The manager repeatedly called me a mf , told me I had 10 minutes to vacate the premises , all because after his wife told me I was a liar about the housekeeping staff’s failure to clean my room, I argued back. I literally felt physically threatened by him since for some bizarre reason he told me he was not afraid of me. I am a senior citizen and he was in his 20s or 30s. The room was also filthy , sludge came out of the sink , housekeeping failed to show up the first day and left the room a shambles the following day, even spilling a vile smelling liquid on my luggage. I am sure the manager bullied me because I am a senior citizen.

Great price, room was clean and very cute! Loved that we could park right outside our room, there was an entry door there by the car and French doors that opened onto the courtyard. The courtyard hard chairs and tables by each room, as well as in the middle and by the pool. Hotel staff was nice and friendly, overall great stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel!

went for vacation and fell and now they charged me 150.00 because I got blood on their pillow case . Plus the guy didn't care if i fell down and injured my knee or my husband injuries as well . All they care is getting money out of people . Waste of time to go here. Pool is heated , drains are terrible and they make sure you have tennis shoes on .

My pictures speak louder than words on this one. Trust me and spend the extra 40 bucks to stay in a brand you can trust. I don’t know who they paid to get ranked here on trip advisor and other sites but the disgusting moldy, cheesy run down MOTEL should not be able to market this the way they did. Hard key handed out with an out loud announcement of my room number and a rundown of the rules for smoking and pets. Should have been my second clue after seeing the exterior of the place. Trick me once.-shame shame shame. Rust in the sink an extension cord bolted to the wall? Broken furnishings. My doggie day care has provided better accommodations. I will be disputing this one!

I have never stayed anywhere and been this unhappy. After 3 nights we woke to bugs all over the room and we’re unable to sleep rest of night. Tried to rectify but came back to chemical smell thru out and wet spray still on floor and dead bugs. Asked for refund for last 2 nights of our stay (we needed to leave it was so bad) and would only refund us one night. Should have been all 3 considering we lost one to no sleep and had to cut are stay there by 2 nights. They were unsympathetic and unaccommodating. I would not recommend. At all. My kids are horrified as well as I am. No excuse for this for the price they charge. As a small business owner I understand things are “hard” right now and I hate leaving a bad review but you should know what your getting into. I wish I had.
