I stayed for three nights October 8-10 to attend an event at the Fairgrounds across the street. The Red Roof is one of several (but more expensive) motels along the same highway. And the overall experience was appreciably better than at a typical "budget" motel....More

We stayed at this hotel for an event at the Tampa amphitheater. The only thing really going for this hotel was the location. It is across the street from the event and an easy walk.
Check in was easy but the room had a terrible...More

Hope to see you again soon.
This is not a fancy hotel, but a nearby hotel messed up our reservation so we ended up at Red Roof.

Kandy at the desk was wonderful and very enthusiastic. We stay here for concerts and enjoy it. Spacious room, fridge, microwave, TV, desk and a nice reception by the staff everytime. Just what we need.

You need to call the hotel direct for answers to questions like this. This hotel isn't any closer to the hard rock then 100 other hotels in this area. This is not a nice hotel but it's next door to the fairgrounds and I think that's why it stays open. Dirty and questionable occupants. It's next to some bar but other than that there isn't anything walkable. I might call the Fairfield in Temple Terrace and ask them. Their rates are comparable. I would never stay in this motel again
