We booked here as a last minute break as my husband wanted us to give camping a whirl. We was made to feel very welcome & nothing was too much trouble. As first time campers we were unsure what to expect but there was very clean facilities & stunning location with beautiful views to wake upto in a morning. Would...

We stayed here at Easter and it was only at the weekend when we were reminiscing did it occur to me to leave a review for this site, for we have deemed that the break we had here at Easter was the best one of our year. Despite the weather not being as good as it was when we stayed...

Lovely peaceful place with great views and only a few other pitched tents. Clean facility's and friendly owners would recommend 100% the owner even offered us alternative accommodation when the weather took a turn for the worst. Can't wait to return next year and climb robins peak

I was there to kayak - excellent place as you can easily get into the river there and then paddle down to join the river severn. The setting is a glorious place to be in, one foot in England and the other virtually in Wales. Magnificent views of green hills, not far away. Paul the owner couldn't be more helpful...

We had a lovely weekend at Church House Campsite. The pitches were great and of a decent size for one tent. The people in the tent next to us were very friendly and we had lots of fun doing the 'ice bucket challenge'!

Myself a hardened camper, I wanted the first camping trip for my partner to be an enjoyable experience. Well I couldnt have chosen a better site. We were met by Paul who gave us a choice of pitches, we chose the one with the most evening sun, next to the barn. The shower/toilets were lovely and clean. There is a...

Firstly we received a very warm welcome from Paul the campsite owner. We pitched our tents over looking the River Vyrnwy and surrounding hillsides. This campsite, although small offers what we feel is proper camping. We were allowed to take a fire bowl which kept us warm in the evening. The local pub is a 15 minute walk but wasn't...
