The Capri at Siesta is a charming boutique beach resort located directly on Siesta Key. With only ten guest rooms we are proud to offer our visitors with a unique and intimate vacation experience with a touch of luxury. Here you’ll find friendly staff, well-appointed guest rooms, and a beautiful tropical setting, only 200 steps to the private access to Crescent Beach.The hotel has been newly remodeled and redecorated inside and out to provide you with a superior quality resort. The heated pool has been fully renovated, including new pavers and deck chairs. All of our guest rooms are furnished with comfortable features like large flat screen TVs and premium Simmons Beauty Rest mattresses and full kitchenettes. Because of the special design of our hotel, our courtyard is totally enclosed, creating a private tranquil retreat that is great for couples or groups. Here you can relax under the shade of tropical trees, surrounded by lush landscaping while you enjoy the soothing sounds of water coming from the fountain. New barbecue grilling equipment and ample outdoor seating allow you to dine in an idyllic setting complete with birdsong and gently swaying palm trees.

Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
This resort is in the same areas of other resorts we stayed at, but this had those extras that made it an exceptional customer experience. We had the one bedroom suite with sofa bed (which was unusually comfortable!). We chose to not have daily cleaning which was easier for our family. You put your dirty towels outside the room and they were changed before the next day. If you needed extra supplies or coffee or toilitries, there was a cupboard where you could help yourself. The onsite laundry machines were excellent and FREE as well as lots of FREE detergent. There were lots of options on the TV , they even let you use their netflix account. The courtyard was wonderful to sit down and relax with coffee. We had freinds over one day and they were given a parking pass and we had a big dinner in the courtyard with the excellent gas bbq which was a blast. Location is only steps from the beach and you don’t need to cross a major street to get there. They have a large supply of beach toys, chairs and umbrellas that you can use. You have access to a large pool and shuffle board court at the next resort. We never used that as we were happy at the private beach where we could rent umbrellas and chairs as a very cheap price. The receptionists were really wonderful, nothing was a problem for them to fix. Highly recommend this resort!

After my flight was canceled multiple times due to COVID-19, I found myself finding a room at the wonderful Capri at Siesta. I cannot begin to say how amazing the staff and owner has been to me. The rooms were perfect and had everything I needed, and the beach is only a two minute walk away. They were also extremely reasonable in pricing during this economic crisis during the last pandemic, so much so that I found myself staying extra time just because I enjoyed the location so much. The staff was even more accommodating to me when I needed to extend my stay at The Capri, and even though they were fully booked they moved me right over to their other property, The Twin Palms, which I can’t say enough about also. I would highly recommend either place to any one traveling to enjoy a great stay on the key. I can’t begin to thank Elana & Jana enough, needless to say when I return next year this is where I’ll be. I’d give more than five stars if I could!!!!

To start, the ladies that work at the front desk, Chloe and Janna, are super sweet and friendly. They really do their best to make you feel at home! The location of The Capri is phenomenal...it is super close to beautiful Crescent beach (approximately a five minute walk). The courtyard and common grounds are kept really well. There are two barbecue stations and plenty of tables for a family to sit and enjoy a meal and get fresh air, as we did. They provided towels, chairs, boogie boards, and beach toys for kids, all of which my family used. They also have two very modern washing machines and two dryers.. all free to use and even had free detergent! Room 103 was just right for us (two adults and two kids). It had a full kitchenette which met our needs and had all basic supplies. Other room amenities were provided and readily available if we ran out. This is a fantastic boutique hotel. We tried to book again for this upcoming Labor Day weekend but they were already fully booked. We look forward to staying there again next year.

This is my second year staying at The Capri at Siesta Key and it was just as wonderful as the first year. The rooms are comfortable and having a complete kitchen is such a bonus. The, “share shack” is the best ~ in it you’ll find beach chairs, books, laundry supplies and extra items for your room such as extra toiletries or paper towels. Free use of the washer and dryer means you can pack lightly! The location is perfect, you can walk to restaurants or catch the trolley with just a quick two to three minute stroll. The beach is also a two to three minute stroll & the pool is even closer. I highly recommend staying here!

As Minnesota residents, we have stayed at Capri at Siesta a couple of times. The accommodations are excellent, as is the location. Janna is the property manager and she is very attentive to all details.
We are able to walk to the beach, one of the best in the world! There are really good restaurants, shops, and places that offer water activities. The nearby pool is perfect with both sun and shade options, and it isn’t crowded since only a couple of other resorts share it. The outdoor patio offers a great way to mingle with other guests.
Location of Capri makes life easier since no worries about crossing the lift bridge when traffic is heavy. We love the many Sarasota options, as well as nearby Venice opportunities .
We have been vacationing in Sarasota for many years with both friends and family. We will definitely continue.

My boyfriend and I stayed in room 106 this time, we stayed in 109 last year. Unit 106 is so beautiful! Had enough room for us and more. I love the atmosphere in this hotel. The outdoor sitting/eating area is such a wonderful added bonus and the hanging lights make it romantic for eating outside.
I love how friendly the staff is and helpful if you need anything. Washer/dryer and detergent is included for free! There are chairs, beach toys, boogie boards and much more for guests to use.
We are going to try and stay in a different unit each year!

The Capri had only 10 units and thus the traffic and noise level being quiet was excellent. Having to back out of the parking area was a bit unique but we managed without issue. The outdoor sitting area was nice and quiet providing shaded areas to relax in the cool morning air. The patio chairs could use some new more padded cushions but were tolerable. We did not have a lot of interaction with the staff as we were gone for most of the day from sun up to sundown at the beach which was just a short walk from the hotel and very pleasant. Beach and bath towels were replaced as needed by leaving the basket outside our door as instructed. The staff we did interact with were very pleasant and accommodating. This was our first time at the Capri and we would not hesitate re-booking this facility for a return visit.

This was our second visit to the Capri and it was enjoyable as the first time. The room we booked was a little smaller but it was clean and comfortable for two people. There was a complete kitchen to make meals. Outside ther was a small table and chairs where you can sit and enjoy a morning cup of coffee. There is a well stocked storage room with everything from extra coffee to beach and pool item.
It is abount a five minute walk to the beach along a shaded pathway that goes by the sharded pool area. Across the street, it a short walk to The Toasted Mango for breakfast. For lunch and dinner, Captain Curt's Cra and Oyster Bar and the Big Water Fish Market and a few ice cream shops are in the same area. The Crescent Beach Grocery is nearby if you wish to do your own cooking. The staff is always friendly and eager assit with your need. We look forward to another visit sometime in the new year.

This was our first trip to Siesta Key Beach (Crescent Beach) area. The Capri at Siesta was a good choice. Excellent room, service, great pool accessible across pathway/street. Easy walk to beautiful beach. Not enough good restaurants within walking distance though -only drawback but, the room had ample appliances within. Due to the Covid 19 conditions, management lowered our room cost and we greatly appreciated the outstanding service centric approach. We will return to the Capri.

Got to the Capri around 3:30pm, we had read our hands free check-in email so we knew which spot to park in. Found a car in our spot, called the number to the office and it was taken care of within an hour. Had a little problem locating our room, it wasn't with the other group of rooms it was out around the front of the building, not a big problem. Room was very clean and all staff we saw were exstremely friendly and helpful. We were a little surprised the distance to the beach, we are used to on the beach resorts(east coast) so this was a first for us, reminded me of down in Mexico. The Capri doesnt have a pool and shares one at the bigger resort down the road, when we went by the first night, there were quite a few people at the pool so we decided to forego the pool. We did have some friends come over our last day and I used the Capri`s grill (they have two for guest use) to cook for our friends. I would like to say it was nice cooking on a Weber Spirit II. It was a first for me and a very nice experience. Last thing I would mention is the checkout time, 1030am, its a little early I thought it was 1000am at first and when I said we might be a few minutes late I was told there pretty strict on the 1030am time. We made it out on time so not to worry. Over all nice get away for my wife and I. We would stay here again.

Yes, it is a short walk from Cresent Beach which I would call semi-private as there is extremely limited pubic access (just a couple of parking spaces) so it's basically just folks from the surrounding Inns and hotels
There are more places to choose from in the Siesta Key area.
