Detailed Reviews
We tend to stay at larger luxury properties when we travel, but thus boutique sized hotel was on par from a service level as any Four Season, Park Hyatt, or Waldorf Astoria we've experienced.
We booked a 3-bedroom unit, and 'village view' was the only option. Usually 'village' or 'garden' view means 'parking garage/lot view' but the half the windows in the unit had water views. My favorite thing about rooms is the showers, and both bathrooms had shower systems with high pressure jets overhead, a rainshower head, and a handheld head. Any 2 could be used at once. It doesn't get better than that!
The breakfast was continental, and easy. The staff were kind and accommodating. Our son left his stuffed animal in the room, and they were kind enough to mail it back with a nice card. He was thrilled!
The water was amazing, as expected. We chose location first (Siesta Key) and looked for the best hotel next, and we chose correctly. I was surprised that the area isnt' built up more than it was, given the excellent water quality. The visibility was about 5 feet, which is way better than the 2 inches we have in Galveston.
to add to the great location, there were a ton of eateries 2 blocks form the hotel. Everything from breakfast to bars. It's so convenient to stay in a condo-type unit with a full kitchen when you're travelling with kids. Plus, I save a ton of money drinking my grocery store bought beer.
I recommend the Hyatt Residence Club 100%. We're not timeshare owners, but have stayed a couple of these since we have small kids (Carmel, San Antonio) and Siesta Key was the best maintained.

This was our second time staying at this property. If you’re debating on staying at this property just book it. It’s as close to perfect as you will find on Siesta Key. The property is great but the rooms are what it’s about. It’s like staying in a luxury beach condo. High end appliances, furniture, and the bedroom/bathrooms are absolutely perfect. All the rooms are immaculate. The kitchens have everything you would need to live there, let alone stay a few nights, so pack lightly. The beach is one of the best in the nation and Hyatt provides towels, umbrellas, loungers, kayaks, paddle boarding and life vests. They have a pool that has tons of loungers and umbrellas. They have activities around the resort like cornhole, billiards, table tennis and table shuffleboard.
Now for the things you need to know before you come. When you arrive it seems like valet only but you can self park if you like, just get a parking pass when you check-in. Expect your room to be ready right at 4pm, although you can use the property amenities until your room is ready and they have lockers and bathrooms you can use while you wait. The rooms are huge and I imagine they take a long time to clean, hence the wait. There aren’t any restaurants on property but you can bring groceries and make all the food you want in your gourmet kitchen in your room. You need to bring condiments, spices, etc. Alternatively, there are dozens of restaurants around, plenty in walking distance. The free continental breakfast is limited to boiled eggs, yogurts, muffins, bagels, and cereal. The pool is nice but hot in the summer, it’s not refreshing at all, easily 95 degrees. They have a pool bar but due to some weird rule they can only have one employee working it so don’t depend on it for your beverages. They do provide a medium sized wheeled cooler in your room that you can fill with ice if you go to the valet station. If you go in the summer it’s going to be hot, very hot so pack accordingly. There’s a trolley that will take you to downtown Siesta Key for shopping and dining. The water in the rooms isn’t incredibly warm, it’s comfortable but not like the hot water you’re probably used to. The TV’s have satellite cable but a lot of channels are not purchased so a little limited. The rooms have washers and dryers so you can pack light and do a load or two while you’re there. They provide laundry detergent and dryer sheets.
In summary, just book it, you won’t regret it!

We have been going to Siesta Key Beach for many years and this is by far the BEST place we have ever stayed!! The resort is beautiful and the condos are stunning. Every detail in the condo was perfect. The condo had beautiful bedrooms, bathrooms and the kitchen is truly a designer kitchen with top of the line appliances. The pool area and beach are beautiful. This resort is the only one on the beach with a cabana bar. We enjoyed being able to order a cool beverage and light lunch. From the minute we checked in we were pampered! The fitness center had everything needed for a great workout. There's no need to hurry down to the beach to reserve chairs-the beach attendant takes care of everything. Plenty of chairs, umbrellas and sand toys for the kids. A perfect vacation. We will be back!

Gorgeous property on the white sand beach! About a mile from the famous siesta key beach. Pool is on the small side. Heated! Kids loved being able to go from pool to hot tub to ocean. Property is nice size. Just a couple min walk to run back up to the room. Cabanas were perfect to watch tv, eat lunch or relax in. Pool was never crowded. The 3 bedroom room we had was very clean. My complaint would be that there are no roll aways. I know they do this to limit the numbers of people in the room, yet you have to consider sleeping arrangements. My high school son can not sleep with his 12 year old sister so at $900 a night someone had to sleep on the floor or couch-which is ridiculous. The master bedroom is ginormous and could easily have a chair that pulls out to a twin bed (we’ve had that at other resorts we’ve stayed at). A very pricey property but we loved it!

Our family recently stayed at this resort and was totally blown away! From start to finish our time at this resort was nothing short of memorable. The rooms were clean and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen and other amenities that we didn't even know we needed. The front desk and dining staff was warm and welcoming, and went above and beyond to accomodate our needs. The property itself is nothing short of beautiful...complete with a pool, gym, spa, game area, cabanas, bikes, kayaks, and a private beach. This hotel practices social distancing and went above and beyond to make sure that the guests were safe. We will be talking about this trip for a long time.

Red Tide currently going on at the beach. Over 60,000 tons of dead fish. Not only does the hotel not call and warn guest that the beach is basically unusable because of this and that the smell of the fish kill causes coughing / borderline dangerous - they actually do the opposite. A friend told me this was going on. I called the hotel and they confirmed. We had a trip booked next week. I asked them if I can get resort credit for when the beach is usable. Its a beach resort after all! I also told them I have a 4 and 6 year old and I cannot risk their health. Not only did they say NO - they where insanely rude to me on the phone. Even the GM Jessica who called me back was rude. Told me I could use the other parts of the resort and did not have to go outside! lol Its a beach resort. Clearly all they care about is money and not the health of their guest. Sad.

I stayed at this property with 5 friends for a reunion. What a wonderful place to vacation! From the reservations to the check-in, the suite/apartment and the property were all superb. Everyone who worked there, from Harry who greeted us and took care of our luggage, to Cali and the others at the front desk, to Polly at breakfast, to Shelly at the pool snack bar, the staff couldn't have been nicer. The beach is gorgeous and there are plenty of places to walk to if you want to eat out or shop. A trolley runs for free to take you into Siesta Key Village if you want to go a little further and have more dining and shopping choices.

We been visiting Sarasota for several years now and always enjoyed staying at the Ritz. Love the club lounge and beach club there. We thought we couldn’t like anything better until this place. We had a 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit. First, the unit was huge..I would guess about 2000sq ft. The only unfortunate part was we were not able to get an ocean view. There is a full kitchen with a Viking stove and subzero refrigerator, Nespresso coffee maker. We made a breakfast every day. The bathrooms are to die for. They thought of everything to make your visit as stress free as possible...even a cooler on wheels to take to the beach. Now about the property a full gym on third floor, continental breakfast, table tennis on the 2nd floor covered porch, fire pit, pool with lots of poolside cabana, bar at the pool (bartenders were so nice). The beach attendant was amazing. He sets up seats and umbrellas for you. And finally the beach had the most powdery white sand that I’ve ever had the opportunity to sink my feet into. In March, ocean water is still cold and the waves a little rough...bring your boogie board. You can watch amazing sunsets from the beach. Several restaurants within walking distance as well as, liquor store, 7 11 and drug store. We can’t wait to come back!!!

We stayed in a 3 bedroom Gulf view on the 5th floor and it was absolutely stunning! Very spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished. Beautiful property overall and great location. Great amenities. We went in mid-January and the resort was very quiet and not too busy whether hanging out at the pool or on the beach. Highly recommend. We plan on returning!!

This was an amazing find. Super clean, great views, and an incredibly helpful staff. Every person was super helpful and kind throughout our stay. The room was gorgeous, clean, and modern. Unfortunately our air conditioning did not work so we were moved to another room during the trip. The manager was very helpful, accommodating, and professional in helping us. Cannot wait until our next trip to siesta key and we will definitely be staying here.
