A taste of "Old Florida" with modern amenities. Siesta Royale is a smoke-free gulf-front property with one- and two-bedroom units, as well as two efficiencies, all with full kitchens. Private beach, heated salt water pool, shuffleboard courts & BBQ grills. There is a laundry facility on-site. Sorry, no pets, motorcycles, scooters, trailers, boats or RVs. Parking is in front of your unit. Five night minimum. Online booking available. FREE in-unit WiFi.
We’ve stayed here a few times and we will come back. Pros: The property grounds are always clean and well kept. Good location. Beach of course is nice. Generous pool hours. Convenient towels exchange twice during the week. Good laundry facilities. Cons: #1. They do not allow you on the property at all before check in time of 3:00pm. This would be my only complaint directed at the office. I mean how hard would it be to send a text message that room is ready early? Keep this in mind If you have an early arriving flight. #2. All units are independently owned. Some are updated and some are not. One unit we had (#9) was updated nicely except the furniture, which was worn and very uncomfortable. So bad that I think it might be the same furniture when Siesta Royale was built in the 60’s. I don’t think I would book that room again just for that reason. There should be some standards set for the owners to provide comfortable accommodations. The pros definitely outweigh the cons though. We will be back!…

BE CAREFUL booking here unless you absolutely know that you can go on the trip. My husband and I had to cancel our trip due to unforeseen circumstances. We didn’t want to cancel. We had serious roof damages due to high winds and had to address insurance and worker needs. We called to inform administration more than 30 days prior to our reservation however, we were told abruptly that we could not get our deposit back or administration fees. We were totally shocked with their response. Again, BE CAREFUL!!!

My husband and I stayed here for a week in the fall. We would have preferred a gulf view but none of those units were available. We ended up staying in unit 44 and it was very nicely updated. I will say that it pretty small and i can’t imagine staying here with more than two people. The property was clean, parking was easy and the staff were all friendly. I feel the condo was well worth the price. I would have given the property five stars but the sheets and towels were incredibly cheap and you could only change them out two days a week.

I stayed 8/27 - 9/11/22 and had a fabulous time. Thank goodness it was before hurricane Ian. This was my 3rd time at Siesta Royale and will continue to stay here. The staff is always so nice and the grounds are always well kept. This time I stay in unit 7, king bedroom and a queen murphy bed. Sister in law stayed for a couple of days and said the murphy bed was really comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked and updated along with an updated bathroom. I read some other reviews complaining about the condos not being updated, but you can look them up on line and see what they look like. Can't complain when it is you that chose it. I also love how they have chairs or lounge chairs for the beach and the pool area was also very nice. Although now that I am older it's getting harder to pull them through the sand to the water. Next time I think I will rent an umbrella and chairs and have someone else drag them to the water.…

From reading these reviews, we obviously picked the wrong unit (32) to stay in! It was a late booking to meet up with friends from out of town that stay nearby. This was the only unit available at the time. It was awful ... old & stained carpet, smelly old furniture, no updates, no dishwasher, therefore wouldn't touch anything in that kitchen. The worse was the giant palmetto bug aka coachroach that we had to kill, and we slept at our friends' place that night bc I just couldn't stay there. Checked out next morning and won't go back. While I understand this is Florida, and we live here, there is a service called "pest control" - they should use it! I will say this ... the office and maintenance personnel were very nice.

I have stayed here twice and am going again the end of August 2022. They have condo;s that face the beach and 1st floor have screened lani and the 2nd floor open patios. They also have 2 rows of condos that do not face the guld. A beautiful swimming poos. Also on the gulf side that have 2 large covered area if you need some shade but still want to hang on the beach. All condos aare privately owened so all are decorated differently. Click on one of the condos on the website to see what it looks like.

Clean, consistent and convenient. At Siesta Royale, you get more than you pay for! I have been coming here for years and I am never disappointed. They always keep the condos clean, the friendly service treats you like family and the location couldn’t get any better. The staff really makes you feel special. That’s why I always come back and have referred many people. So take a chance, you will never stay anywhere else!

We were so excited for our Florida vacation and enjoyed it until the last day. We were all packed up and as I was getting onto the airplane with my children. Erin, an employee of the Siesta Royale felt the need to call me and tell me that we trashed the place since we did not put the take-out food containers that were in the refrigerator and place them in the trash can. There were some White Claw's in there as well. We did not know this was a typical policy and felt apologetic about it. But Erin felt the need to continue that we would be charged more because they would need to empty the containers into a garbage. We also left cleaned dishes that were air drying in the sink. But, according to Erin the room was trashed. Terrible way to leave a vacation and I wish I could write a good review.…

You will love this place. Siesta Royale has a retro 60's feel with a mix of simplicity and unfettered beach access. Most units are updated and unbelievably affordable. My tip would be spring for the front units if they are available. We stayed in Unit 17, which is one of the best in my opinion. There really is nothing like waking up and looking out and seeing the beautiful view and being able to just walk right into the sugar white sands of Siesta Key. We were also lucky to have a reprieve from the red tide that was/is affecting much of Florida's Gulf beach coast. I do have to take a moment to complain about how we were greeted. We showed up on property 80 minutes before check-in due to an early flight. So we asked if we could park and go to the beach (which is a public beach by the way). Now, remember occupancy has been lower than normal due to the recent red tide event. We were told not only could we park in our units parking spot (because maid would think it was occupied and not clean - which we understood), but we could not park in one of the many guest spots. This was an hour and 20 mins before check in. So we said ok, we have friends at a neighboring complex and could park there and ask for a key fob to go down to the beach. They said it was not possible to go to the beach until we checked in. I was told there are liability issues if we weren't a guest yet. I had already pre-paid 95% of my trip and said we would sign anything they wanted, but was told that was not possible. It also wasn't possible for one of them to walk us to the gate. We usually stay next door and they always accommodate any early arrivals as done any resort in the world. To make their story even funnier my brother-in-law was arriving after 5 pm. I asked him how he was going to get his keys. He indicated they were just going to leave his unit OPEN and the Keys inside and he signed nothing until the next day. Which worked form him. I list all of this because it really did disrupt early enjoyment. The property, beach, and weather made all of this worth it. But I really can't believe they did absolutely nothing to accommodate an early arrival.…

The rooms are all remodeled and so nice inside! Everyone is so nice and friendly (both staff and renters!). We always meet new people and enjoy talking to them all! My only negative is that the room we stay in only had 5 nights open and we wish we had MORE!! It is so relaxing! Our condo faces the gulf and it is an amazing view!! Can’t wait for our trip next year!!
