We were on the first floor of the Kimball Lodge in room 249. We had a screened porch that looked into the Gulf. I think you would have the same views in 247, 251 and I think there was a 253. The other even numbers face the pool area. The beach was a few steps away from our room! We...

We loved the low key property and history as the oldest location. Very low impact and you feel very connected to beach and surf. Very complete accommodations, key location in middle of island. We were in front condo. Nice pool- small but pleasant as option to ocean. Very helpful staff! Good continental comp breakfast. Restaurant is entertaining and good food....

This Inn was a great place to stay for a nice quiet get away with or without kids. the rooms are updated and comfortable. Lots to do while there kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and shelling. The pool is heated for the cooler days and the restaurant was great for dinner.

Even though our stay wasn't 100% perfect, I'm giving it an Excellent Review. This place gave me a feeling of a cruise but also like a camp on the beach...all in a good way! We were given a map upon arrival so we knew how to get around. Our room was on the second floor of the Starky lodge. We...

The Island Inn found a great room for me and my family with plenty of room for two adults and two children. We stayed for a week and could not have been happier. The staff are very friendly and incredibly helpful for everything from tennis balls to use on their court to renting bikes for the week. Renting bikes on...

While there are plenty of places to visit in Sanibel and Captiva, once we arrived at the Island Inn, we were very content to just stay put. Our room in the Lodge was all we needed, very clean, nice view of the grounds and the ocean, and charming comfortable. Most unexpected was the Traditions Restaurant and Lounge. In making our...

We stayed here for 4 nights in February and loved every minute. Like their publicity says, it has an old-Florida feel. That made me a little uneasy...is it old? And it is, but has been beautifully updated. Very clean and well kept. And our room was almost ON the beach. We were in Kimball Lodge, which has a really nice...

This was our second time staying here. There's something very magical about this Inn. It's very pretty, neat, clean, and quiet. I love the way the lodging is low and scattered throughout the property. It makes for very beautiful views of the gulf. This trip, my hubby and I stayed in a deluxe Kimball Lodge gulfview room. When we arrived,...

Stayed 5 nights at Island Inn. What a great place to relax! You never need to leave the property. They have a great beach, great dinner restaurant, wonderful rooms with kitchenette and patio/balcony--everything you need is right there. This was our second time staying there and it won 't be our last. Love it there!

We were looking for a quiet spot on the beach and this was perfect. It is an older property but very nicely updated. Rooms are scattered among a few small buildings and cottages. Everything was very clean and the staff was friendly. This is a good hotel if you want to relax on the beach. It is not a fancy...
