We stayed here for a long weekend in January and really did enjoy our stay. Below are the pros and cons of Song of the Sea Pros 1. Great location. Easy access to the beach. 2. Very helpful and friendly staff. 3. Bike rental included. This is very handy and worked out great for seeing the island. 4. Overall quite...

We went to Sanibel as a belated anniversary trip. Our second trip to Sanibel. We booked the Coastal King room. Screened balcony looking over pool out to Gulf. You have to carry everything up the stairs and it was raining when we got there but the room was worth it. Big room, really comfortable king bed. Kitchen was a disappointment...

Song of the Sea Hotel was almost perfect. This was our first visit to Sanibel Island. Upon arrival we were greeted by Cheryl. A perky mid-westerner who was chipper and helpful even while breaking the news to me that our check in was four o’clock. A detail I neglected to notice, we arrived at 2:30. She informed us that due...

Song of the Sea was exactly the kind of hotel we were hoping for. It is quiet and relaxing with the amenities we sought for a beach vacation. The staff are exceedingly helpful and we had a wonderful stay. Breakfast options are plentiful and varied. Highly recommend the facility.

My husband and I had never been to Sanibel Island and there were a lot of lodging choices. Coming from snowy Colorado, we really wanted to be right on the beach and surrounded by lush, tropical landscape, so we chose Song of the Sea based on TripAdvisor reviews. We loved beachfront, the free bikes to tour the island and friendly...

What a cute beach hotel. An that's what it is. A beach hotel. If you are looking for the four seasons you will be disappointed but if you are looking for low key beach access and relaxation this is your place. Pool and hot tub ar super. Beach access is right there and a pretty walk. Our room was clean...

Our second visit was terribly disappointing at first, but the staff worked to make it right. When we checked in after midnight and saw our room, we thought a mistake had been made. Rather than the comfortable beach chic shown online, we ended up in 4101- a designer flop from years past that has never been redone. Rather than "cute...

I wasn't sure what to think of Song of the Sea when we first pulled in, but I must say, this lovely little place did nothing but exceed my expectations. It looks a little weathered from the outside, but our room was beautiful and clean. We loved just spending time at the beach under the complimentary umbrellas, and our lunch...

I agree with the traveler below. There were a lot more kids than we expected, but we never heard them in our rooms and they were well behaved at the pool. The view from the front suites is worth the money, but make sure you get a second floor. The place was SO clean. I walked around in my pink...

The staff are friendly, however this place was too overpriced for what you get. The rooms are dirty, the bed lumpy, and too many kids! Romantic-NOT. Better places to stay, like the condos at the other end of island.
