Excellent location right on the beach. Clean and quiet even with our room facing the pool. Bed linens were exceptional, along with the comfort of the mattress. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. They even had a waffle maker with fresh fruit to add on top. The strawberry

Aside from being a very intimate and romantic inn, the staff of Song of the Sea went above and beyond to make our two stays in December forever memorable. John was always so helpful as were all the other hosts and staff. The breakfasts were delicious and wonderful coffee! We

Waking up to a beach walk and sine shelling is terrific. But, the real pleasure of the morning is Susie's lovely energy at breakfast. She helps everyone start their day with a charm and air that's delightful.

Here we go again to the best place to stay on Sanibel Island. Another week in the sun, close to the sandy beach. Susie will have breakfast ready for us, and we’ll enjoy dining on the patio. We’ll see you all on Monday Dec. 10 around noon.

Dear Sixxpak, We're so excited to welcome you back! We know the weather is a tad frightful in otherwise beautiful Wisconsin Dells, so we hope you'll have another wonderful and relaxing stay in our little paradise at Song of the Sea. Than you for your loyalty, and for the very nice comments you shared. Above all, please let us know if there is anything we can do to make this visit even more memorable than your previous ones. Sincerely, Bill Wellman General Manager

Is the red tide still present?
Good morning. We're seeing much-improved conditions beginning last weekend and as of yesterday the air is clear with no one reporting respiratory issues and the water much cleaner. NOAA upgraded it's forecast from "high" to "moderate" in terms of the actual algae blooms which is also great news. We strolled the beaches of all of our Inns this morning and it's great to see our guests relaxing on clean beaches, thanks to the efforts of the City of Sanibel crews with the assistance of our own staff. We're seeing all of this as a positive trend! Please know there are many things to do on Sanibel Island - from biking to dining, to exploring Ding Darling, museums, and relaxing at our pools - but at this time, our beaches look great!

What is the current status of renovations?
Good afternoon and thank you for your question. We are currently planning to renovate 50% of our kitchens this year at Song of the Sea. Our designer and architect are actively involved in the process and we hope to be moving forward with the actual work in the next few months.

PeterJ 911 is correct. We replaced our washers and dryers with brand new units just a few months ago.
