We stayed for only one night to celebrate our anniversary and loved it! We want to make it an annual weekend getaway. Larry and Ellen were warm and welcoming - we immediately felt right at home. The use of the bikes was a huge plus. We were able to bike around downtown and hit up all the sites we wanted...

This was me and my Fiancés first time staying at a B&B and it exceeded out expectations. We are from the area but recently moved to Orlando and needed a place to stay for a wedding. So from a local’s perspective the location doesn't get any better for St. Pete. Close to all the museums and within walking distance to...

We stayed in the Lavinia Room. We have only stayed in b&b's 3 times, and this one was by far our favorite. The house is simply exquisite. The entire house, grounds, and our room were impeccably clean. Beautiful antiques everywhere. Every detail was perfect and little extras like sherry in the room and turndown service with chocolates on the pillows...

My wife and I recently spent our 46th anniversary in the Longley Room at the Larelle House. We had a delightful stay. Our room was very cozy and contained period items that reminded you of the early 1900's. The house has a lot of character and the front gardens are beautiful. You can sit on a front porch rocker or...

My wife and I had an overnight "getaway" at the Larelle House and really enjoyed our stay. Ellen & Larry - the owners of the B&B - were both cordial and friendly and the "bed and the breakfast" exceeded our expectations. Ellen made a fabulous breakfast for us. My wife and I highly recommend the Larelle House and plan on...

The Larelle House has character. From personable hosts Ellen and Larry and their three cats to the hot tub set under a heavenly smelling gazebo of bougainvillea to the turn of the century uniqueness of the house itself, Larelle House was a wonderful place to stay. Ellen and Larry made deliciously hearty and fantastically varied three-course (!) breakfasts. Our bedroom,...

We spent our 10th Anniversary weekend here and it was quite nice. The owners were very nice and are excellent cooks. We even enjoyed talking with the other guests at breakfast. There were some events taking place on the waterfront and at times we could here the bands playing, but it was very minimal. It can be a little challenging...

The Larelle House is a well appointed historic home, one of the oldest in St. Petersburg. It's in the northeast district near the historic Vinoy Renaissance Hotel well within waking distance of many restaurants, museums, and shops along Beach Drive. Larry and Ellen are excellent hosts and their breakfasts are plentiful and superb. There are only four guest rooms, so...

Like many houses in this Northeast district, they are decorated English style with lots of flowers and wallpapered ceilings. You get the idea. We needed a King Size bed to got a big bed and a TEENY bathroom, not to our liking. THe breakfast was a little weird we thought- pineapple with cottage cheese, a too dried out kind of...

Although we appreciate the feedback, and the fact that the reviewers gave us 4 out of 5 stars, we would like to reply to some of their comments. - First of all, there are very few Queen Anne-style Victorian homes built in the early 1900’s on the west coast of Florida, and Larelle House’s décor is lovingly arranged (without being...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Larry & Ellen's home. They were delightful to chat with, our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were DELICIOUS, and the location was perfect for walking to many of St. Petersburg's highlights. They have several outside seating areas that were great for sitting/conversing and enjoying the weather (which was perfect for our early...
