We decided to visit St. Augustine for a second time this year and wanted to safe a few bucks. We had seen The Pirate Haus before so we looked it up and found the rates were unbeatable, in my opinion, for the location. Five of our family and one guest showed up early on the Monday after Christmas and took...

This quirky & fun hotel has a fantastic, central location & the price is quite reasonable. We checked in early enough to snag onsite parking & never moved our vehicle until check out. All 3 generations of family members traveling together enjoyed the unique accommodations, refreshing camaraderie among guests, &, of course, the memorable pancake breakfast. We'll definitely be back.

My kids (13 and 9) and I had a wonderful stay at The Pirate Haus Inn! We decided to make a one-night visit to historic St. Augustine to see the Christmas lights and enjoy some other attractions. We have stayed in the historic district before but wanted to try something different. The Pirate House is certainly that! The location is...

Awesome little hideaway! Excellent location, cozy rooms, friendly owners and staff!!! We have been going to St Augustine for over 10 years over Thanksgiving and we have tried hotels, home rentals and camping, Pirate Haus is now a favorite! It is run Part B&B part hostel part hotel. There is a kitchen and gathering room with plenty of room. A...

Came back again after a 4 month hiatus. We brought some friends this time. The kids had a blast. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters this trip. The kiddos loved the treasure hunt. Jenny was a true blessing - as always - but more needed than ever on this trip. She was a huge help getting a friend/kid adjusted to...

We were planning on going to St. Augustine for a concert the last weekend of September and couldn't believe how expensive the hotels were! After some research, we found The Pirate Haus Inn. With it's central location and reasonable pricing, we went for it! You can't beat the location but it definitely wasn't the Ritz. The bathroom was a little...

This fun hostel is right in the center of downtown St. Augustine, within walking distance of just about everything you'd want to see there. The rooms are all different nautical and pirate themes - clearly well thought out and super creative. The staff is wonderful and I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone traveling through town.

Make a new friend or two from different countries and enjoy a family atmosphere B and B. A reasonably priced experience with a delicious breakfast, clean rooms, and overall fun time Room rates are reasonable. We had seven people and there were two bunk beds a queen bed and a roll out. Quiet at night but much laughter during the...

And you're right, it's all about the kids! If they're having a good time, then parents can relax and have a good time themselves. Good thing I'm just a tall kid at heart! Thank you for staying with us and we hope to see you and the gang again!

This is a hostel / B&B setup; not a hotel. That was perfect for us! We didn't expect or need the service you'd want from a high end hotel. It's in a very, very good location with all of the sights and bars / restaurants within walking distance. Very comfortable bed and room with our own bathroom. Pancake breakfast is...

But our check in is usually better than a high end hotel, because we can spend time with you to recommend things you would like and food you would like to eat. Thank you for staying with us and thank you for taking the time to write a review!

I was very please with my week long stay at the Pirate Haus. The room was comfortable, clean and well furnished, even though a bit tacky (stayed in the fish room). The staff and volunteers were extremely helpful and nice. I have to say that it was by far the best hostel accommodation I've had in the Unites States. I...

You actually stayed in the Inn not the hostel, but that's a quibble since it might all seem to run into each other. Tacky? All of our decorations are Martha Stewart, though it all honesty it was during her prison years... ;-) Thank you for staying with us, and if you have some design tips, I'm all ears....but I do...
