I don't know why we do this, but we waited for the last minute to book a hotel for last Memorial Day weekend. Needless to say all hotels were booked. So when I finally found out that Scottish Inns had one room available, all the negative reviews could not stop me from paying twice the regular price for it. In... More

Pros: Great location (directly across from Mission of Nombre de Dios which is one of the trolly stops), ample parking, easy in and out access, courteous staff, comfortable beds , soda & ice machine Cons: No coffee pot or blow-dryer, no land line phone in room, large bathroom but no vanity, (only a small wooden shelf beside the sink) shower... Great location right by Fountain of Youth, free parking, the windows opened. If you're picky about décor, this is not the place for you. If you want a cheap place to sleep while you're in St. A., this is borderline acceptable. The A/C worked well, bed not uncomfortable, great water pressure in the shower. The big oak tree in the... Room was clean, with a Micro, Refrigerator, and nice HD TV. Quiet for good sleeping. A bit small, but, we only slept there. Was out most of the time. Motel personnel were very courteous. We stayed 2 nights and were happy with our stay. Beds were very comfortable and linens were changed daily. Many good restaurants near by. We will... More

Large room with microwave and fridge, very clean. 10-15 minute walk of everything. Owners very friendly. It may not look like much from the outside but really the rooms are quite acceptable. We would stay here again.

Husband surprised me with an anniversary trip! He booked this motel because it was within walking distance to town and value priced. The clerk put us in their handicapped room since my husband requested a room near a handicapped parking space. The room was okay - two double beds, a table with two chairs (the fabric on the cushions was... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in March '16. The place is old and in bad need of a Reno. The room had a funky, musty odour to it. There was no phone, no microwave, no blow dryer, and no clock radio. The carpet was so dirty, it would ruin your socks, so we left our shoes on. Despite all... More

I just arrived here about an hour ago. This place is perfectly fine for me. I'm not so picky like some of the people that left reviews. It's small but very clean. The most important thing is that it is so close to all the places that you'll want to visit. With that being said, I would definitely recommend this... More

This room was a great value! Definitely great for the budget traveler who won't be spending much time in the room! Great location, within walking distance to everything, which you'll want since driving & parking in historic St. Augustine area can be a hassle. We were a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews, but experienced none of the... More

We decided to go down to St Augustine for Christmas Eve and day. We didn't want to spend too much for a room because we knew we wouldn't be in it that much except to sleep. We were able to get a king size room. It came with a microwave and refrigerator. The room was non-smoking and it is smelled... More
