My fiance and I stayed at the Alexander Homestead for our 2 year anniversary. We stayed in the Alexandria room and it was wonderful. Comfortable bed, your own private porch, fireplace, and a wonderful 2 person jacuzzi tub that I fell in love with. The breakfast every morning was delicious, especially the cinnamon biscuits. I would definitively be returning.

We were just married, and wanted to get away and decompress after the wedding. Saint Augustine and the Alexander Homestead were perfect. The location was excellent; close to everything, but secluded enough to be quiet. The breakfasts and service were excellent! Everyone at the Homestead worked to make the experience special, and was incredibly friendly. Bonnie was a wonderful host,...

This was a great place to stay for several reasons: *Centrally located for walking around, limited parking for most areas would have been a hassel. *Very quiet for being so close to the busy areas. *Bonnie makes a wonderful breakfast. *Web site makes it easy to pick out perfect room. *Staff makes you feel very welcome . *We loved the...

We found this Inn on their website and compared it to others. We liked the location. We had been to St.Augustine and wanted to be near the attractions. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. The Bed & Breakfast was beautiful, landscape was well maintained and the inside was very inviting and charming. Bonnie was wonderful. Her sister, Diane, and...

My fiance and I booked the "Rendezvous For Lovers" package. We asked Bonnie for certain times for everything in the package and she made it work. We went to dinner at 95 Cordova which was awesome! The arrangement of flowers she had in the room for us when we arrived was beautiful. Breakfast was great, along with the staff. We...

Bonnie Alexander has created a wonderful B&B where I totally relaxed. The home is beautiful and she welcomes you into it as if it were yours. She and her staff take such good care of you that you may not want to leave. Each morning my partner and I discovered some new aspect of the Homestead, an antique here or...

My fiancee only had the chance to stay one night. If we'd known how beautiful it was we would have booked at least 2 nights. Bonnie was very nice, and made sure we felt comfortable. This was our first time at a B&B, and I was worried that I might feel like I was intruding into someone's home. But it...

Entering the Alexander Homestead through the picturesque front porch from the garden walkway you can hear strains of classical music and spy a small book of Emily Dickinson's poetry in the formal living room - rich with antiques and romance. This is a perfectly appointed inn, with five of the most inviting and romantic bedrooms that hint of lavender sachets and pale hues of vintage opulence.
