The Garden Cottage was advertised as part of The Old Mansion B&B with owner Mrs. Kramer as the on site historian. After arriving I found out that the B&B had been closed for 5 years and the owner institutionalized for years. FALSE ADVERTIZING The place smelt putrid, the floors and area rugs filthy, the freeze full of ice-everything had to...

What a lovely place! It occupies a full city block. The mansion is like a museum inside and the coach house, which is where we stayed, is delightful. The gardens in the back and front of the house are magnificent with lots of fruit trees (banana, mango, lemon, grapefruit, kumquat ...). Lots of parking and a short walk from the...

I remember staying there in the late 90's with a friend. The 2 people that owned it then were husband and wife from England and I remember him telling us that he was a member of the "House of Lords." They were already up in years so doubt that they are still the current owners. We had cocktails at 5PM...

We were staying at the Casa Monica Hotel for one night only and decided to extend for one more night, but they were completely sold out so we had to find another place to stay that night. We decided to stay at the Old Mansion Inn. When we arrived and Vera opened the door I knew we were in for...

Great Location. Near all the major St Augustine attractions and fine dining. Room was full of amenities: small kitchen, complementary snacks and soft drinks, soaps, and shampoos. Classic decour with themed art. Grounds are beautiful with tasteful plants. Truly tree/green friendly. But the best experience is chatting with Vera Kramer, the owner manager. What a Lady in all aspects. Further,...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Old Mansion coach house--and, yes, "Vera is Great." This was my first stay here but I plan to return. The owner, Vera is a lovely person who cares about animals, children, recycling, dolls, people, and much more. She is a Grandmotherly-type and a delight to be around. Her breakfast is H-U-G-E and yummy....

For the traveler looking for a comfortable, spacious, well positioned bed and breakfast, then Old Mansion Inn is your spot. It is located just outside the hustle and bustle of the old town area, and therefore a quiet location one block off the main road but just one block away from the old town shopping district, bus and tourist shuttle...

We stayed for the first time in the Old Mansion this spring, after having admired it for many years. It was a most beautiful home that has been lovingly restored. Vera is a very kind hostess and we enjoyed getting to meet her. She has some of the most gorgeous and unique furnishings that we have ever seen. We absolutely...
