Perfect location for walking to all the town gift and art stores as well as restaurants. When we arrived we were greeted so warmly and enjoyed our move in with a glass of wine and some cookies. The 3 course breakfasts, each day different, during our 4 day stay was better than any meal we ordered at any of the local favorite restaurants. It was so enjoyable to chit chat with other guests while not too much and still having your privacy. Everyone that was there seemed happy with their stay. Our room was the perfect suite with a well appointed bathroom where we each could get ready without being in the others way. This bed and breakfast is a true bed and breakfast not to be mistaken with the Airbnb app that we have grown to detest. At the Kenwood the staff takes care of your every need. No guests doing their laundry nor taking out the trash here!! Ha! Enjoy!!…
We had a great stay at the Kenwood Inn. Everything about the Kenwood met or exceeded our expectations. Our suite, the Bridge Suite, was very comfortable, with a separate living room so I didn't wake my wife up when I had to check in with my office on Guam in the middle of the night Florida time. The shower with multiple shower heads was very relaxing. The breakfasts were delicious and creative. The neighborhood was quiet, but easy walking distance to the parking lot, the trolley tour stop, and restaurants. The swimming pool was a welcome touch which I took advantage of three times a day to cool off from the Florida heat. The staff was very helpful at all times, but especially when delays at the rental car company at the JAX airport resulted in our late arrival. We certainly hope to return to the Kenwood Inn.…
For those heading to St Augustine Florida, my girlfriend and I highly recommend staying at the Kenwood Inn. You are greeted by Patty the owner who is warm and friendly. The home was built in 1865 and as so much history. Our room was warm and cozy and Chef Tony made the most wonderful breakfasts every morning. Visiting St Augustine is an experienced not to be missed. Besides the Fountain of Youth, the city itself offers so much to do. It’s nice easy walking city. So make your way down to St Augustine and say hello Patty at the Kenwood Inn.
We normally don't stay at B&Bs but when we reviewed Kenwood's website we thought we would try it. Service and location was amazing. From the gourmet breakfasts on the tranquil patio to the afternoon wine/home made cookies to the super comfortable beds. We stayed in the Captain's room which had a sitting room and a balcony that we enjoyed after a full day of exploring the historic downtown (George St) and Anastasia beach. We'll definitely be back!!
Great location! From the welcoming complementary glass of wine to the gourmet breakfast the stay is incredible. Suggestion to guests, talk with the owner Pat, she is a wealth of local information. Parking is included and convenient to the Inn.
The best bed and breakfast Inn in St. Augustine. A must on anyone's list. Graciousness and friendliness is extended on all fronts especially our hostess who shared historical info about the Inn and helpful suggestions on cuisine in the area. Five stars and yum go to the impressive 3 course breakfasts to their Chef. Our room decor and cleanliness in addition to the super comfortably supportive bed was another 5 stars. And the double walled shower heads were an "Aaahhh! at the end of the day! Thankyou Kenwood Inn and Pat!
First time trip to St. Augustine for my wife and I. Pat the owner/innkeeper gave us all the confidence that we would have a great stay over the phone and she delivered. Great room, awesome shower, great location which was away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk anywhere you want to. The 3-course gourmet breakfast was absolutely fantastic. No eggs and bacon but rather a true chef prepared upscale meal. Avocado toast with smoked salmon, shrimp and grits with parmesan truffle cheese grits finished with a bourbon cajun cream sauce, BLT egg souffle, stuffed french toast made with lemon pound cake, breakfast stuffed mushroom with house made sausage, and a fresh house made croissant with banana strawberry flambe, toasted coconut Creme Fraiche, drizzled with almond infused local honey. Homemade gourmet cake in the parlor when you came home from dinner which was wonderful. Nice touch. We have stayed in many B&B's and this one was just fantastic. Looking forward to a return trip in the warmer months to take advantage of the pool and courtyard. Thanks again for such a great visit!…
This was our 1st stay in St Augustine. Everything during our stay was wonderful. Pat and her staff were very friendly and professional. The inn is within walking distance to historic sites and restaurants. Pat booked a trolley tour so we could easily see all of the city. The highlight of our stay was the 3 course breakfast! Delicious! We also met some other guests and enjoyed sharing our travel experiences. We would definitely stay here again.
I can’t say enough how awesome our experience was when we stayed for my mom’s wedding. Pat and the staff were attentive and went above and beyond for everything. The beds were so comfy, I haven’t slept that well in years. The food y’all, THE FOOD!! We had the rehearsal dinner there and it was amazing. This was the perfect place for our whole family to be together.
Very nice and clean. Super friendly staff, fantastic food! Pat was very accommodating. Coffee out in the morning wine in the afternoon! Met some nice people there. Oldest B&B in St. Augustine, which is cool.
