This is our favorite place to go to relax and have a quiet peaceful vacation. Love sitting on the dock and watching the fish and wildlife. The rooms and very nice, the place is well kept. Love sitting on our private patio with a book. Our second visit and we can't wait to return.

We found this through Groupon and had a wonderful time. Our cute studio had a private patio with very comfortable lounges. The blooming flowers and gorgeous trees created a perfect hide-away. Kayaking the Little Manatee River gave us quiet passes through mangroves and bayous as well as more challenging bay waters--saw dolphins and stingrays along with the pelicans and ospreys....

I got a living social deal for this place so we tried it out. I was a little weary since you go into a neighborhood first but it was very cute and well maintained. It is in the middle of nowhere and you definitely need a car to see the sights. It is a place to have a very quiet...

Wonderful hidden treasure. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere with very attractive landscape and well appointed cottages. Great pool area. Docks for your boat give it an extra since the fishing seems to be good. While we were there several guests returned with great catches. Jonathan was cordial ad helpful with local information. Will definitely put this on our "must return" list.

This IS a hidden gem in the Old Florida style. The landscaping is lush and the atmosphere is of peace and quiet. The weather was perfect so we enjoyed lots of outside time on the river dock, poolside and on our private, large patio. Johnathon was most accommodating and we appreciated his restaurant recommendations. We had the studio "apartment" which...

My wife and I were looking for something different on a recent week in Florida. I'm a great fan of eccentric Florida writers ( Hiaasen, Tim Dorsey, John D) and the Old Florida I read about. Pirates Pointe was just that feel with modern comforts. A beautiful spot on the river and lush grounds, a wonderful pool and deck area....

Stayed there for four days and tried to find good restaurants thru tripadvisor. Always worked before but not this time. Wish I would have talked to Jonathon first! He's a ex-restaurant owner and has the low down on everything local. Great stay and very laid back area, so relaxing. Heated pool and neat little place. Very clean. Rock on Pirate's...
