This part of Florida seems to consist largely of a large & very nice beach dotted with high rises. Some hotels/resorts and others residential. MOP is one of them. The staff was excellent from start to finish. Friendly, helpful & accommodating throughout our stay. The room was spacious, clean, well appointed, comfortable & looked rather new. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, full kitchen, washer/dryer - perfect for a family stay. Various covid precautions are predictably in place. Some areas/activities were closed/limited but most were open. Nice pool area. It would be nice if the marketplace opened at 7 in lieu of 8 at least for coffee drinks as a number of people were up at that hour and typically lined up to get in for their lattes by 8. We started on a high floor as requested (nice) in the front building facing south. I found the facing building under construction to be unpleasant. Although you could see the ocean ("ocean view") if you sat out on your balcony & pointed yourself towards the beach, all you saw when looking straight out from the room was the building, which was ugly and blocked the light. When out on the deck it was hard to ignore the sights and sounds of ongoing construction. We asked to be moved to the north side & our request was accommodated mid stay when a room opened (busy easter week), which we appreciated. A bit of a hassle to move but well worth it as the view change was substantial and we were much happier there being able to see the ocean from every room & out of range of the construction. There wasn't much within walking distance in terms of restaurants etc but we found numerous great/fun spots in surrounding Jupiter & Palm Beach Garden which is an easy drive. Also a much nicer grocery store (Publix) than the one we stopped at on the way into the island.…
Wow. This is an amazing place. It’s on the beach. It’s so relaxing. I would come back in a heartbeat. The kitchen and living room are so inviting. The views are fantastic! It’s great for families and couples. Restaurants are close-by and other state and beach parks.
I had a great stay until I spotted bugs in my bed on two different nights. After research, it was clear they were bed bugs. After returning home, the bites showed up. The only response from staff was changing our sheets and giving us a bottle of wine. I was expecting more from a marquee property. Luckily we were aware and could take precautions needed to avoid brining them home. Note: they play dead so you have to flush them down the toilet. I wish I had thought to take a picture of the actual bug to show. It had my blood in it when I squished it.
Fantastic Service and Location. The back building sunset room 2206 is the best room and view on the island.we have stayed ocean front before and now prefer this full view. The pool is perfect for children and not crowded. Beach is beautiful and clean. The room was spotless and had no noise. We were facing the construction south side and the windows are thick enough to cancel out all noise great for naps with baby. Also they are done with all the major construction for those who are concerned. The all day sun on the south side of the building was a plus great for tanning in the room. Thank you for a wonderful trip.
Very nice stay - the rooms are huge and nice. Would be perfect for a reunion or a big family. We used points - very pricey but thankfully, no resort fee. The pool is nice and the beach was lovely. Only negative is we asked for an ocean front - was told they were booked so she put us in the second building from the beach which had a perfect view of the adjacent building being built. The next night we checked out and back in and the nice gentlemen at the desk at least got us a room on the other side closer to the beach. Only other negative was the mask mandate - I get why Marriott has to go along with the whole mask thing, but making you wear one in the fitness room while working out??? That's too much - I walked along the beach instead.
