I stayed here in a recent disc golfing road trip thru the south. I had a tent site, 25, and it had water and electricity. The showers and restrooms were clean and hot water in the showers lasted a good while. There is a gate that you will need a code to leave an re enter after hours so make...

A nice clean inexpensive campground.Close enough to walk or bike to some amenities, like the public library which is right across the street from the entrance. You do need a vehicle to get to the many public beaches in the area, many of the best of these are about 20 kilometers away at Orange Beach, Alabama. Some nice hiking trails and...

I am not a camper but I like this Campground. The main reason I like this campground is because everybody that uses it likes it. It's not on a beach and you know that up front. Its got power, but you have to bring your own grill. The bathrooms are clean and maintained. It has trails and it has boardwalk...

We always enjoy staying at big lagoon campground. It's not on the beach, and the bay is a very short drive within the park. The campsites are super shady and the bathrooms are always well stocked and well maintained. Bring your grill because they don't have separate grills. The bay is fantastic for little ones who don't like the waves...

Our typical spring vacation..camping. My wife and I try to arrange our vacation around the 2nd week of April as we have always had great weather wherever we've gone. Initially our campsite reservation at the park was #26 but when we arrived the ranger said they had to move us because the power blew out in #26. He said we...

Spent two nights at Big Lagoon State Park. Our greeting at the park office set the tone for the entire visit. Very helpful and very friendly staff. The park is neat, clean and a wonderful place to stay. We loved our campsite which was across from a clean bathhouse. The boardwalk trails were fun. I highly recommend this campground. Would...
