Our family just left and are already planning a return trip! We were actually there in July 2023 also, before the pool was open. It was nice to be there this year with everything open. It was spacious, clean and a 3 minute walk from the cottage to the pool. When resorts say “close to the pool and beach” The beach was a little bit of distance but not horrible, and the crossing guards are a nice touch and they are all very nice. It would be nice to have a slow cooker-crock pot and a BBQ grill available even if it was in the common areas. It would be nice if the hot tubs were serviced while we were there for 10 days. It's also nice to have beach towels provided as this was not a service last year. Emily the bartender was great and also Ruben the maintenance guy was great. I had to ask Ruben about what to do upon checking out, that information would be great to have in the check in box information. We also enjoyed the music at the pool. Not everyone will love them all but we enjoyed almost every one of them. It was a nice touch also. Our family of 9-13 will return.

Our 3 families stayed in a 6-bedroom villa on the beach and had a most wonderful vacation. We arrived early before check-in time but were able to access the Margaritaville Resort, enjoy a delicious lunch, and dip our toes in the pool. We found the beach house clean and beautifully decorated with more than enough room for our group of 9 adults and children. The only downside to our stay was the ocean was restricted for two days (double red flags) but our villa had a private pool and we were across the street from the resort with water slides, a lazy river water feature, and a massive swimming pool. The staff was incredibly kind and courteous, and I appreciated the care given to us as we crossed the street (crossing guard), were given beach towels to use, and had meals delivered to our table. Our family vacations are usually booked in more remote beach locations like Cape San Blas, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island. We hesitated vacationing in Panama City Beach because of the anticipated crowd density. However, the amenities of the Margaritaville Resort and water features compensated for the loss of beach privacy and provided a wider array of restaurants and shopping choices for our family. Thanks to Marilyn, Brooklyn, Mack, Michael, Mo, Rueben, and all of the staff for helping my family have the best vacation ever. We hope to return to Margaritaville Beach Cottage Resort, again.

I just wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for the amazing stay we had at Margaritaville Panama City, FL. It was truly a fantastic experience!
The Beach Cottages near the pool were incredibly convenient and user-friendly, especially for our smaller kids. They absolutely loved it! Moreover, the staff was always prompt, accommodating, and friendly, making us feel right at home.
I wanted to give a special shout-out to Tyron and Tajay for their exceptional service. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. Their friendly and helpful nature truly made a difference.

I made one reservation online. I called to upgrade (pay more money). I was told I had two reservations. The one reservation number I had emailed to me and paid in full I was told was not valid. When I asked the representative if I had been charged in full for two reservations, she said she could not see that information. I asked her if she could send me receipts, she put me on hold without telling me. I thought she had hung up on me due to the dead silence. When she came back a minute and a half later, she said that she emailed the receipts to me. When I told her I did not have them in my email and wanted to know if I had been charged for two reservations, she told me I need to check my account. I was appalled on how unhelpful this person was and not a great first impression. I’ve paid a lot of money for this vacation and to find that I may have now paid double but they could not confirm is unsettling. How does this even happen and their representatives are unable to assist?? I am hoping someone can reach out to me who has the capability to assist me. I didn’t even get what I called for accomplished only a hassle that I now have to deal with during my working hours. Not impressed at all.

Amazing new homes surrounding a huge pool, lazy river, slide. The kids had a blast and the staff was very hospitable and accommodating. JoElle went over and above to get us koozies when we needed some and brought us updated RFID bracelets when they got the new ones in. Everyday, Jake, the beach attendant had all the chairs and umbrellas (15 of them) set up in a semi circle on the beach. The Waterside Retreat home was amazing and had more than enough room for all of us. Even though our particular home overlooked the road, they were really well insulated and we didn’t hear road noise. The beachfront homes also looked amazing with private pools.

I cannot express how much me and my family love this resort. The food was AMAZING (shot out Romeo for making the best burgers I’ve ever had) and the pool area was perfect for all ages. We spent hours in the lazy river and going down the slides. The team working during our stay were so attentive and kind.
And the rooms — GORGEOUS. We have a family of 15 and not once did I feel like we were on top of one another. It was glorious. And the location from the beach was also awesome. A quick walk that even the toddlers could handle.
It’s also walking distance to a few restaurants and maybe a 5 min drive to some of the “bigger” restaurants like Sharky’s or Runaway Island.
All I can say is that we LOVED this place and they aren’t even done building all the amenities. So I know it’ll only get better. I’m obsessed.

Misleading advertising about amenities. Loud construction taking place to build resort buildings. Poor pool service. Not a complete resort yet and charging prices that are not warranted by the experience. Would not return to this location. Management would not negotiate price after informed about poor experience.

We stayed in the new beachfront houses and they were amazing. Plenty of room for the 15 of us. There was beach service that included chairs and umbrellas for our group while we stayed and we had our own private pool. The office personnel were very friendly and helpful and wanted to ensure we had a great stay. We were disappointed to know that the water park wasn’t going to be open but they called and communicated that to us before we got there so we were aware of it. Overall, 10/10 would recommend.

We truly did love our stay here. I will tell you not only was the home amazing the staff went above and beyond not only for us but for everyone that we saw them engaging with. The food & drinks were delicious. We met Brandon who was a fabulous bartender so awesome we offered him tickets to the Morgan Wallen concert. The service he provided was above and beyond. Leon & Kam were cooking in the kitchen and they killed it on the burgers and fish tacos. My kids loved the pool and the private beach was awesome. We will definitely be back. You just can't find nice genuine people like this anymore. We appreciated yall!! Thanks guys for making our trip so awesome! The Moore Family!

We had an amazing time at the Margaritaville Beach Cottages! We have a family of 15 and we try to get to the beach together once a year and this is the first time we all agreed that we wanted to come back to this specific place next year! There are lots of different needs in our group and the Margaritaville Resort met every one of them. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff (especially Romeo!) Was top notch.
