Amazing location - easy monorail access to Epcot and Magic Kingdom. Oversized rooms - very comfortable for families. Though this is one of Disney’s older resorts, it has been completely remodeled. Pool area is also lively and fun! Great views of the MK evening fireworks from

Welcome to the South Pacific where everyone feels like family! Monorail resort - fantastic location - superb pool - delicious food. What more could you want? This resort is more casual than it's other Monorail neighbors (Grand Floridian and Contemporary) which fit our travel s

Aloha and mahalo for joining us at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort! It sounds like our locale had everything each member of your family needed. The Resorts along the Monorail, especially Polynesian Village, are extremely popular among our Guests for the reasons you explained: easy access to the Theme Parks, fun activities throughout the Resort, and delicious dining options. Since you love our food so much, during your next visit, be sure to check out Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. It's full of hula and fire dancing, as well as some of the most delicious food you will ever have. Be sure to take a Hawaiian roller coaster ride on over to visit us again soon! What a stunning resort! The decor and feel is full out tropical. We stayed in the Hawaii outer building with a fantastic park view. From the moment the staff said "Aloha" while placing a lei around my neck I felt like we were in paradise. The cast was exceptional as one would only

I absolutely agree with you! Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is such a wonderful experience and truly unique. There is no other “Welcome home” to a Resort like one by a Cast Member placing a beautiful lei around your neck. My absolute favorite part of the Polynesian should not come as a surprise… Yes – The Dole Whip. It is easily my all-time favorite snack at Walt Disney World Resort! Next time you visit, be sure to go to ‘Ohana if you haven’t yet! Make sure you save room for dessert, too! You can thank me later! Thank you for stopping by the islands to share your experience with us! We will see you again soon! Ryan Disney Social Reviews

You really fell the spirit of Aloha here. They have a beautiful sandy beach with a perfect view of the castle. The pool was so much fun- complete with a water slide and waterfall volcano. You can take the monorail and be 2 stops from Magic Kindom or a water taxi and be right on

You had me at Dole Whip and boy, could I ever use one right about now! Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort truly is unlike any other at the Walt Disney World Resort. The convenience, entertainment, and atmosphere alone would make anyone want to visit. We haven’t even really talked about all the food yet! Isn’t ‘Ohana the greatest? It’s truly one of my favorite restaurants. Pro-tip: Save room for the ‘Ohana Bread Pudding à la mode dessert – it’s scrumptious! I am so happy to hear about your wonderfully tropical stay at the Polynesian Village. We sincerely hope you decide to stop by the islands again soon! Ryan Disney Social Reviews

Thank you for your thoughts on Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. While I apologize for the lacking Guest service you experienced, I hope the rest of your visit was full of magic. I’m thrilled the rooms were comfortable, the pool was fun and the food was delicious. The Polynesian Village Resort is one of the most convenient in terms of transportation since it sits on the monorail line. There are also watercraft and bus transportation options to get you anywhere quickly. Also, I’m so happy you enjoyed the fireworks from the beach. It’s truly a magical experience and with less crowds and the proximity to your room, you can just relax and appreciate the moment. I hope we’ll see you around the islands again sometime soon. Mahalo! Do they still have the nightly Water Pageant show in the lake with the music and lights before the fireworks? It's been a few years since I have been there.
Yes.

Any suggestions on a Stretch Limo service from MCO Airport to The resort? There will be 4 guests. Its the girls Bday, we will take magical express to MCO on departure
I’ve heard the Minnie Van services from MCO is amazing. It’s the same as Limo, they have someone waiting for you at baggage claim, they pull your luggage. Refreshments available in the car. Based on what I have seen, I would take that. Plus it’s super fun since it’s red & white polka dots!

In California, Disneyland does not start scanning passes (whether early entry or regular) for monorail until the park opens. You can waste a lot of time waiting in line. Does Magic Kingdom do this? Or do they scan passes before opening and first monorail departs at Park opening? Thanks 🙏💕
For Magic Kingdom, Main Street normally opens an hour before Park opening. You don’t scan tickets or bands until after you get off the monorail and to the Park itself. You shouldn’t have any issues getting on the monorail before the Park officially opens. There is a fun Park Opening (Rope Drop) Ceremony at the Castle at the official opening time, if you have kids I do recommend seeing it at least once. I will say that sometimes there is a wait to get on the monorail at the beginning of the day prior to and during opening, and potentially once you get off and go to scan tickets. If staying in property, the buses and boats run prior to any of the parks opening too. Additionally, if you aren’t on property there are security screening lines to wait in. Again, no tickets or bands are scanned until you actually enter any of the parks. Hope this helps!

I have reserved a room with a theme park view for Dec. Is it worth this amount of money? I could downgrade to pool/marina view and save a chunk of change but if it is really special it might be a good choice. Also did you have a balcony? I was told I have to wait until a week before and request it. Thank
Not worth it. Send a fax 24-48 hours before you check in and ask for 1-2 room location requests...sometimes the room assigner can make them happen. You spend so much time at the parks, you’ll be so tired and forget to use balcony...happened to us two trips..we never book those rooms now.
