We had the most enjoyable stay. The reception staff very welcoming and helpful but especially John the luggage porter and he helped with everything, nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the AP amenities. All our meals were excellent and we had breakfast, lunch and dinner on most days. The staff again very good....

We were a little skeptical staying here as other reviews stated the rooms were dated. The overall hotel is older but the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a small balcony overlooking the neighborhood. The rooms do not come with coffee makers but they do have a coffee set-up in the common area by the elevators....

The treatment is excellent, they make you feel like family which makes the stay that much better. Great views of the golf course, clean and spacious rooms. I will be back for sure!!! The amenities in the bathrooms include eucalyptus soap and shampoo, HD tv, and great air conditioning with no smokey smell in the rooms.

We stayed in this hotel because we wanted to change the air for a while, and it ended up being a pleasant experience. It would not be fair to give less than 5 stars to this place, you actually feel like you are staying in someones home. Food is not cheap but is tasty, pillows are high quality, rooms are...

We only spent one night here. Our room was beautifully renovated with a super comfy bed and views of the golf course. As we wandered through the Lodge, the sense of history was prevalent. So many great photos of Mr. Palmer and other famous golfers over the last decades. We really enjoyed looking at all the trophies, photos and paintings....

Whilst the golf course, pro shop and all the staff on that side of the operation were fine the Lodge is another matter! It is, in my opinion, out of date, tired and the staff give off an aura of 'You are staying in Mr. Palmer's Lodge, think yourself lucky'. The rooms are way overpriced and very average, the service...

This place is geared to golfers - it's ideal for those wanting to play a round at Bay Hill and get away for a night. What it isn't is a place for families with young children or for those wanting to get away and be pampered at the pool. In fact, there is no pool, no sweeping grounds for long...

You quickly realize what type of property this is when they hand you the dress code at check-in. This is a men's resort. Sure there is a spa on site, but a scan around the Cafe Friday morning revealed 20+ men and two women. The rooms are nice, the bathrooms large but don't look for the iron / board. If...

If you like old fashioned service and are a golf junkie, this is the place for you. We enjoyed an early morning cup of tea from our room balcony that overlooked the putting green at Bay Hill. The pro shop staff, particularly JJ, were outstanding. They coped admirably when we were called off the course due to a lightning storm....

A friend and I stayed at Bay Hill Lodge in early April 2015. We couldn't have been happier with our experience. The room was very comfortable - nicely furnished, and the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job each day. The morning coffee was a great plus to help get us started, but the evening cocktails in the member's lounge was...
