Relaxing while away from the parks. Great for families. Make sure you rent a golf cart since the place is big. The golf cart keeps you off the buses and fun. Order food from Garden Grocer 30 days in advance for discount.

My wife and I traveled with our Daughter, Son-in-Law, and Granddaughters to Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground. This is a wonderful campground. Spaces are of different sizes depending on price, but all looked to be sufficient for tents, pop-ups, trailers, or motorhomes. Comfort stations are close with showers and laundry facilities. There is much to do for recreation. Two pools, hot...

Clean place sights are kind of tight for big rigs. My husband is handicapped and I was disappointed that it wasn't very easy for him to get around, you almost have to rent a golf cart. Not sure .if I would go back

My daughter and I just returned from spending 7 nights at Ft. Wilderness. We had a very fun time. The campground is huge and you definitely need golf carts or bikes to get around. We had hopper passes to all the parks but still had plenty of time to a lot of the activities they offer such as boat rentals,...

We love this place over and over...peaceful yet full of things to do and see, great for our dog, close to Disney parks. Difficult to get a reservation in our experience and a bit pricey since it can cost more than a value resort but we enjoy it. The worst fault is the WiFi which drops a lot and then...

As you would expect from Disney, Fort Wilderness delivers on all fronts. We go every year for Halloween and I highly recommend visiting during Halloween or Christmas as the decorations are second to none. You have to book really early for these holidays but I promise it is worth it. I think the best part is the golf cart parade...

This place is such a gem. We've been three time since June. My son loves to catch the catfish here. My kids love playing tether ball, canoeing and looking at the horses. Roasting marshmallows is always fun too. I'm already booked here for Mother's Day and Halloween. The cast members are always friendly. Clean bath houses, although we don't use...

We visited Disney for the 2016 Christmas season and it was well worth it!! My review is just about Christmas. We camped at Fort Wilderness and it was wonderful. We rented a golf cart for a full day and spent the day looking at the whole camp ground, had dinner at the Trail’s End Restaurant and spent the night sightseeing...

I have been visiting Disney since I was a youngster, staying at nearly every resort that has been built at some time or another. From budget to luxury. I have to say this is one the best places to stay on property. Always something going on no matter your age. The RV lots surprisingly quiet, private and cozy. Its a...
