I love this resort and location. Walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Got groceries and food delivered to resort but have to pick up in lobby. There is no delivery to your room except for bell services.
First off, I would like to thank the front desk team for their help. Our in room washer and dryer ruined something of sentimental value to us. Front desk worked really hard to try to find a replacement. When that was not able to be found, they found us something very cute. Thank you!!! Ok. Yes, the rooms could stand a refresh. That should NOT prevent you from booking a vacation at Boardwalk! The rooms are still pretty fantastic! If you are a Food and Wine fan, Boardwalk is a must do!!!!! It could not be any easier to just stroll from the hotel into the back of Epcot. Zero and I mean zero stress getting to and from Epcot. Hollywood Studios too. But being able to just stroll home from Epcot is priceless. It is also nice being so close to the Skyliner. Jumped on that and dinner at the top of Riviera. No need for an Uber for an awesome dinner. We were told the breakfast is great there too. Pretty cool to also sit on the Boardwalk and watch fireworks. See photo. All cast members were nice. Everything was clean. Pool and waterside were fun. Happy with our stay and thanks again!…
Pool slide, check. Proximity to Disney parks, check. Clean and well appointed, check. One bedroom Garden view villa with kitchen, washer and dryer, Two families of three and we each had one of these. Enough space for all 6 to be social. Staff was amazing. So many options at Disney but i think we would just go back here.......
I stayed at the One bedroom Boardwalk Villas and I can honestly tell you it has all the luxuries of home. Right now it is very expensive but if it is on your buck list, I would highly recommend this hotel. Staff is very friendly, I would like to give a shout out to one of the bell services gentlemen for being extremely caring, polite, and not expecting anything for caring my luggage to my room. A truly wonderful man. Now about the hotel...I loved the thought of a jacuzzi soak every night was heavenly. Then knowing I can wash my clothes and dry them too while soaking is a blessing as well. The rooms are quiet, you can not hear your neighbors at all plus knowing you have a full kitchen is nice as well. What can I say...I am glad I did it.
We are DVC members but have never stayed at the Boardwalk. We had a deluxe studio. Garden/pool view, but it was pretty much a boardwalk view. 5059 if your interested. We loved the location. Walked to EPCOT & Hollywood Studios. Swam & Dolphin are very close as well. Walked there for dinner one night. Pool area was very fun and whimsical. The resort is a bit dated, but it’s Pros heavily outweigh the cons. We don’t own here but I wish I did. This Resort is in my Top 3, maybe even 2. This ranks up there with Riviera and Copper Creek. We’ll be back
We have always loved stay at the Boardwalk Villas and loved them. This time however the room was down right disgusting. The bathroom shower was covered in mold and the sink barely drained. They staff was not very helpful and often gave attitude. The bathroom in the lobby was so much nicer at Art of Animation then Boardwalk that people are paying $800 a night. The only reason my review was so high was because still my favorite location because it’s such a convenient place to stay with kids. Didn’t have to fold up my son stroller for busses to get places as there are boats and Skyliner and walking paths to Epcot. There is also so many options to eat because of Epcot, Yacht and Beach Club, and Swan and Dolphin so close. They had fun activities for the children. Also I prefer resorts that the rooms all are walking inside from Lobby. …
I've been a lifelong Disney Fan. My father could not wait to book our 1st Disney trip when Disney World opened in 1971. Then 25 years ago my husband and I purchased a Disney Vacation Club membership to ensure we took time together with our family as our families did when we were growing up. We love the Boardwalk and continue to create wonderful and magical memories here...it is our home away from home! Disney continues to creates experiences like no other for families, they are truly amazing and clearly there is something else about Disney that makes it even more special beyond the parks...it's their cast members and leaders. I love returning to the Boardwalk where so many front desk and bell service team members welcome you "home". It's nice to be recognized and know you are a customer. This review is about taking a moment to recognize all that Disney does to service their customers, they truly do go out of their way for their guests. Service is never an easy business and I've witnessed many companies having forgotten what BEST in Class Service really is and/or not able to keep up with things due to the rapidly rising costs in the world we live in. It's not easy out there and I trust the same for Disney too. Yet somehow they continue to keep things moving forward as they lead the way in service and innovation. Specifically during my trip this week, I want to call out some cast members that have made a positive difference in my trip. I received an invitation email for feedback from the Boardwalk's GM, Kristin Lindsay. I thought this email was such a nice touch and gave it a test drive to share my thanks to several cast members for their outstanding and notable service during our stay thus far. Within 10 minutes of me sending the email, I received a personal call from Danielle Wisti/Guest Experience Manager at Disney's Boardwalk. Danielle was super friendly and asked if it was a good time to speak. I was out and asked if we could correspond through email…the rest is history! We met up later where Danielle and her team (Laura, Anita and Marlene) made themselves available to assist me where I was not familiar with their new system to ensure we had the best park day(s) that we could, really appreciate your kindness and attention to helping me with my requests – you made my trip! PS: Special thanks to the cast members I mentioned to Danielle and Kristin who went out of their way for us. It’s nice to know that Danielle shared you would all be recognized: Mary Kate at the front desk, Stephanie at Trattoria al Forno and Duckky and Evin in Housekeeping (be sure to have them clean your room, had no idea “things” could look so amazing!…
Rented a BWV one bedroom villa as Beach Club (my favorite) was unavailable but I think I may like Boardwalk even better! The mint green in the stunning lobby and rooms is so fresh and soothing, the smell in the lobby is sugary sweet (in a good way!). The location is the best on property being an easy walk to both Hollywood Studios and Epcot. We had no problem with bus transportation to MK or AK. The staff were all so helpful and friendly making you feel welcome and special. Beds are very comfortable. The whole vibe is fun and there's lots to do around the resort when just hanging out. No complaints at all - will 100% stay again !! Keep it up guys !!
I really wish I could give this property a better rating, but I just can’t. Staff is amazing, providing the Disney magic. Location is outstanding, with many wonderful offerings on the Boardwalk itself. Based on those facts alone, it remains a property to consider. That said, though, the property is showing its age. We were very disappointed that a refurb has not yet taken place, especially on the DVC side. The bed was absolutely terrible. The room provided didn’t feel like it received an up-to-Disney-standard turnaround. Again … location, Location, LOCATION. Can’t beat it. Just wish the rooms themselves felt worthy of the ‘Deluxe’ category.
Was able to stay in a two bedroom, however, the one bedroom was large enough for 4 people. Bathrooms were spacious and kitchen was perfect. Saved us money between breakfast and lunch in the room. The washer/Dryer was the best part of room and helped immensely especially after getting caught in a few rain storms. Staff was cheerful and always eager to help. Resort was big but nicely laid out. Pool was large enough to never feel crowded. Had some nite life as well but we did mot go in. Despite the size it never seemed overly loud. Location was key here. Five minute walk to EPCOT World Showcase and to Skyliner to Holly wood studios. Boat launch was i. This area as well. Can not wait to stay here again.
