First off when checking in..no water available. Was told since FL does not recycle they were doing away with water for arriving guests? Next we are told we are on a top floor because that was a best room. All the way at the end of complex..furthest from pool area and our view was trees and what looked like landfill. After getting to room..unpacked ..tried showering with little to no water pressure. Next up bed…both sides sagging toward the middle..NOT comfortable.Just nothing we would have expected from Hilton. And they put ppl here to convince them to buy time shares!?!? I would NEVER. NO bar, restaurant or true services. Luckily we had plans outside the resort! Then on our last day we were awakened at 8 am to Aman ringing our doorbell asking us if we called to have our bed changed…UMMM, NO WE DID NOT. Then packing up to leave house keeping rings at 9 am…CHECKOUT IS 10. This straight up was NOT A GOOD HILTON EXPERIENCE, sadly.…
We’d had a long day with airline delays and other issues so I was hoping when we finally checked in that it wouldn’t be another bummer moment. Thankfully we were very happy. The lady that checked me in was very nice. She was quick and efficient and sent me on my way. We had a one bedroom suite in the Smith building (which is the very last building but didn’t bother us). We walked into a very clean and spacious condo. We had a king bed in the bedroom and a pullout Queen sofa bed in the living room. Nice sized bathroom with walk in shower and a jacuzzi tub that sat outside of the bathroom in the master. There was also a well lit small vanity area beside the jacuzzi as well. Allowed me to get ready while my boys were showering. Kitchen seemed well equipped and we had a 4 seat dining table. Balcony view was only of trees but it was nice sitting out there. Plus great bonus of washer and dryer. Grounds seemed well maintained but we didn’t utilize the pool. Across the street street from Seaworld with Aquatica and Discovery Cove right around the corner. Perfect location for our plans at these parks. Everyone was very friendly and nice. We had a great stay and definitely would return.…
Last Resort! As Elite Members of HGVC and Lifetime Hilton Honors Diamond members - I’ll admit we are somewhat spoiled and have great expectations for any locations we stay. The HGVC at Sea World was definitely a great disappointment. This is particularly a letdown since our previous stay over 6 years ago. CONCERNS: 1. ACCOMMODATIONS- the initial room (we moved to a different room after first night) had signs of black mold in the bathroom vent and the floor tiles were cracked and had missing grout. The handle for shower was loose and potentially a real problem. All of these issues were potential health and safety risks. After reporting- I will say the staff relocated us to a better room. We do appreciate their efforts. 2. PARKING LOTS - were overcrowded and trashy. I had to park 3 buildings away on several nights. I would suggest they allow only (2) parking permits per room and have added fees for over the two. I stepped in broken glass in the parking lot and found a great deal trash and debris throughout the parking lot. I again shared my concerns with front desk to give them an opportunity to improve. They did clean up the broken glass - but the trash / debris remained during our entire stay. 3. LAUNDRY IN ROOM - the washers in both of our rooms had a rancid smell around the door. I took a rag and cleaned out all kinds of crud from the ring around the door. I didn’t say anything - but felt this is something they should address. 4. POOL TOWELS SHORTAGE- unseasonably warm weather for January created a major demand for pool towels. Unfortunately the staff was unable to keep up. It took over an hour to have any towels. They did eventually bring them and were very helpful to insure all guests were accommodated. 5. KITCHEN CONCERNS - it took multiple requests to get a decent (non scratched skillet). But they did ultimately bring us a new one. Very nice. There are no potholders available despite our requests. If you plan to bake - use a face cloth from bathroom as a potholder (that’s what we were told to do) 😔. And the knobs for stove top were so worn - it was next to impossible to tell what level we were setting it to. They should replace these knobs. 6. HELICOPTERS- the resort is apparently directly in a flight path for a multitude of touring helicopters. You’ll get used to the noise. COMPLIMENTS 1. STAFF - was very helpful and worked to address any and all concerns. Special thanks and kudos to Kaila. She has a super positive attitude and really is a blessing! 2. LOCATION - this resort is conveniently located near SeaWorld and many of the attractions and restaurants on International Drive. That does have some appeal. 3. USB OUTLETS - it was nice to see they have USB outlets throughout the room & especially near the nightstand. 4. FREE DVD’s - checkout and watch in your room. It would be nice if they offered what many of the top HIlton hotels now offer - streaming services: Netflix or Amazon Prime SUMMARY - it’s important to know what you’re getting before you buy or stay. It’s somewhat disappointing that this particular resort has declined so much since our stays 6 years ago. Apparently they are facing staffing shortages and training issues. Hopefully management will address the concerns and hire more great staff like KAILA. There are many choices for lodging in Orlando- in the future this will be our LAST RESORT! 😩…
My wife and have traveled extensively both in the US and overseas. We can state that our stay in the Hilton Seaworld hotel ranks among the top 5. Friendly staff; professional service; great amenities throughout. Rooms were very clean; furniture very comfortable. Dining and other activities made for a very relaxing trip. Definitely will be booking a return.
Nasty nasty nasty. Disgusting toilet and shower and floor. They don’t clean the rooms before you get there. Sheets and pillows are dirty has hair all over it. Old stinky carpet. This is doesn’t look or feels like a Hilton. I have to make sure my kids wear their crocs to walk around that nasty floor It’s an old nasty disgusting cheap motel
Had a great time at the Hilton and the stay was amazing. My only concern was the additional RCI fee of $25 per day that no one told us about. I was not the only guest who was caught off guard having to pay an additional $175.00
The Hilton Sea World Resort is a fantastic resort close to all parks. Clean Great rooms Best pools and hot tubs around. A hot tube with a hot waterfall fantastic and the best pool side bar tenders anywhere. I would give it 5 stars .
Great spot for a family vacation! We had the One Bedroom suite that was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen was nice but lacked a variety of cooking tools. What they had was good enough for a short stay but if you are staying for a week, as the timeshare hotel is designed, you'll see a there are a few things missing. Bring coffee filters and your condiments.
This is an excellent resort. Jeremiah was very efficient and helpful at check-in. The 1 br suite had every amenity needed for a good stay....full kitchen, balcony, sleeper sofa in living room, king size bed, full bath with shower, jacuzzi, washer and dryer with laundry soap provided, coffee for the entire stay. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. As we were only there for a golf trip, we didn't take part in any of the activities, but we were given a full schedule of all the daily activities and it appeared there was something for everyone. Would definitely stay here again!!!
This place is sold by EXPEDIA as a hotel but has nothing about an Hotel. Lousy service , rooms are not well appointed, A/C doesn’t work , staff after 6 pm in Housekeeping do not speak English , impossible to receive assistance after 10 pm by operator , simply a MISMANAGED PLACE , stay away from here
