We had the Arusha view and we weren't too far off the main area on the 4th floor. We enjoyed looking for the animals each day and saw giraffes, zebras, and more from our balcony. The concierge set up was okay. The appetizers in the evening were similar to what we had at Boma so after a week we felt...

I will start by saying we did not have a bad experience at this hotel, just not a great one. We went from October 19-25. The Animals are something to see. They were out mourning, noon, and night. My children and I had a great time seeing and walking around the property looking at them. The hotel is very large,...

My husband I went in September, and I can't recommend the low season highly enough. Nothing crowded, and great attention from staff! We splurged on a deluxe resort to get the "wow" factor when you step into the lobby, and the Animal Kingdom Lodge delivers - it's an amazing space. The room itself was fine - moderate size and nice...

My husband, 9yr old son and myself stayed at Jambo house for 2 weeks early November. We have been lucky enough to stay at some spectacular hotels around the world and this would be included. Every detail is African themed. Room was spotless and cleaned daily. The staff couldn't do enough for you and very friendly and chatty. Pool open...

Stayed there for 3 days....room was small and bedding smelled! Only animals we were lucky enough to see were mating donkies and few small other animals far away. At the pool the life guard on duty didn't want to get wet when I asked him to help my daughter and he (life guard) asked guest in the pool to help...

Just returned from AKL. great place to stay, we had a arusha view on the 2nd floor and it was enjoyed by all. We arrived on the DME bus and it was a breeze getting in as well when we left. Sign in and checkout was a breeze. I requested a room with a view but had one already assigned...

First of all, i have to say it was not a bad experience, but nothing that really stood out either. I thought the biggest pain point for me would be the location because unless you spend most of your time at Animal Kingdom - you always need to travel to the other Parks. What helped mitigate that issue was we...

We had planned on Port Orleans French Quarter, but having stayed at there once and Riverside twice already we decided to pay a bit more for the Animal Kingdom Lodge and loved it. We had a view of the Savannah and it was not the best view, but we did see some animals. I can't say it's really worth it,...

I've been at the lodge a few times for dinner. The lobby had always impressed me but I live in the woods so seeing animals has never been a huge bonus for me. I was persuaded to try a different resort for my Disney trip so we ended up making reservations here. It is definitely a drive from the parks...

My wife and I stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (Jambo House) expecting on some level to have a giraffe stick it head in our patio door. Well, not quite, but almost. There is something about looking off your deck and seeing a part of Africa walking around. We had 5 days and they were filled. One day we did...
