We stayed at Universal’s Adventura hotel and were very impressed overall. The hotel was beautiful inside and out. Great pool and rooftop bar, enjoyed breakfast every morning at the lobby cafe and Starbucks, and a Universal shop in the lobby as well. They stored our luggage when we arrived early and we were able to change in the very clean locker room. Enjoyed the shuttle to and from the Universal Parks. Unfortunately we never learned about the water shuttle until we were leaving, wished we had know about that to try it. Staff was very helpful and friendly as well. I was concerned when we booked because the price was so reasonable that it would it be a nice hotel, but I was very wrong. I highly recommend the Adventura as a great place to stay!
We took a holiday within a holiday and stayed at the Aventura for 1 night with the purpose of experiencing the City Walk late night. We didn't use the restaurant, the pool or any amenities and literally slept there for 1 short night! Anyone else looking to use the hotel like a Airbnb won't be disappointed. For a 3 star the hotel was above our expectations. We were able to check in at 10am, quickly parked the car and were in the park by 11. The bus service was quick, regular and easy to find and use. The coffee in the lobby was Starbucks and there's a strong shop incase you don't see enough merchandise in the park. The rooms were spacious and clean. An ipad controls everything from the lights to tv, phone and coffee machine. The shower was seperate to the wash area which was great for a quick turn around of a family. Highly recommended …
Hotel is rated as a budget friendly property, compared to some of the other Universal Studio properties, but it certainly does not feel like a budget property. It has all of the ammenities you could ever need, food and drink onsite, prices are good, roof top bar is amazing! Rooms comfortable and clean, elevators situated so that no room is very far away. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Would definately recommend and return.
Our stay was excellent. Clean rooms and lobby, and the location to the theme parks was great for the price. We had some tech issues with the room iPads and TV, but overall we had a great time. The hotel food was surprisingly good as well.
If you're planning a visit to Universal, definitely stay here. Conveniently located right off the highway and they offer free shuttle service to and from the parks. They seemed to run always every 5 minutes or so, it seemed. We never had to wait. One night we just hopped over (and it's only like a 5 min drive) to CityWalk just for dinner and drinks. The rooftop bar offers exquisite views. Where the hotel is shaped like a triangle mostly, one could easily get lost exiting the elevators, but don't fret...the floors are color coded to match the color of your hallway. Trust me, that helped.
A typical 3.5 star hotel, nothing more, nothing less. Pros: - Early park admission - Close proximity to the theme parks - Free delivery to the hotel for purchases made at Universal theme parks - Able to use the water taxi to get to and from the parks Cons: - Breakfast not included and not a lot of options. - Restaurants inside the hotel are pricey. - Very average service from the hotel staff. - Rooms seem outdated, dirty and bathroom sink is located outside the bathroom. -
The Good: Subjective, I realize, but I found the hotel very modern and attractive. The room was clean and housekeeping fantastic. Urban Pantry concept is great (hours aren't ideal) - especially the wok and pizza. It's the more "adult" Universal property, so if you're not coming with kids (I was in Orlando on business) there are nearly as many children running around. The shuttle ran frequently and if you don't mind a 10 minute stroll you can walk to the boat at the neighboring property. The pool was small but seemed relaxed and had plenty of room mid-week. The Bad: Bathrooms are starting to show some age. The woman who checked me in was friendly but not particularly warm or welcoming. The room seemed on the small side. The tablet is a really cool idea, but I found it a little annoying in practice. The Ugly: I asked for a room away from the elevators and was put in a room right next to the elevator (and ice machine). It was as loud and annoying as I had imagined. I don't expect any hotel to fulfill every request, and if that was truly the only space available that would have been fine, but the front desk could at least just let guests know they can't fulfill the request.…
Loved this hotel. It was very clean and open feeling. We have stayed at all Universal hotels now but one. This will be on top of our list. The pool is small but was great for the crowd that was there or you can just go out the back way and you are at Volcano Bay. Loved this path. Buses were there very often. Room was very modern and loved the ipad to operate the TV.
Everything was amazing! Rooftop bar view was beautiful and the staff was awesome! Access to the water taxi to get into Universal CityWalk or some thing I was unaware of, but that was so convenient! Definitely the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in. Will definitely return soon.
The waiting in the line for the rides wasn't bad and the hotel bar tenders were the best ever Annette, Brian, Scott and the amazing young lady I can’t recall her name but so sweet dark hair. The food was delicious in the hotel and great services since you walk in till walk out
