The place was ok. Location decent but not a true resort experience. Entrance and initial impression was very impressive. All bathrooms only had one soap, needed one for shower and one for sinks. No shampoo, no lotion. Had to ask for extra towels and TP. A keurig but no Keurig pods..? No creamer or anything. Tables had stains, called front desk, no action was taken. We had to clean ourselves. The bathroom only has a light and fan switch, so if you get up in the night to use the water closet. You have to turn on all the lights and a very loud fan to use the bathroom. Which will Wake everyone
Great experience. Nate, a massage therapist at the spa, was one of the best masseuses I’ve ever had. As someone who suffers from tension headaches, the neck and shoulder release was incredible. Great!
Resort amenities are very nice. Some maintenance was lacking, however. We had a 3 bedroom suite, had to request wine glasses (only 2 in room), no scissors, frying pan was warped and disgusting. The TV in our room did not work, we reported it, and were told that they could not repair it, so we had to do without for the 3 nights we were there, without any compensation. The shallow kids' pool and lazy river pool had murky water, did not look appealing. Our granddaughter actually got gastro after swimming in it. Probably would not go back there, and it's too bad, because the grounds are very well laid out.
Went to the spa at The Grove Resort and it was absolutely fantastic! Nate did such an incredible job listening to my concerns and troubled areas. I came out feeling so relaxed and much better than before! Svonne was my mother’s masseuse and also did a fantastic job as she pin pointed her back concerns and showed so much care. Thank you!
Everything was amazingggggg literally! We also ate at the Valencia and our waiter Kevin was phenomenal! We will definitely be back for a third! I would advise anyone to come and see what it’s all about!!!!
The staff are all so nice but Kevin at the restaurant was such an amazing waiter! Sooo welcoming and sweet! He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and meals. Will highly recommend to friends.
I will update my review later on with a full description of my stay. I do not ever leave reviews, but had such a bad experience with the restaurant on property and I haven’t been able to get it off my mind. I would give this property 4 stars if it wasn’t for the breakfast. I regret not saying anything to the staff, but they were so nice. The staff & the cleanliness was the only thing this restaurant has going for it. The buffet was absolutely awful. I think the reason why I haven’t been able to get it off my mind is because for a family of 4, we paid 100 dollars. For that price, you would expect the food to be somewhat edible. My child barely ate anything. My mother & I tried to eat as much as we could because we knew the price & couldn’t afford just to go somewhere else after we already got our plates. All the bread, waffles, & pastries were stale. Bacon & coffee even tasted weird. It seemed as though it had been sitting out since they opened that morning & we got there at 10. My omelette was good though, I guess because they fixed it on the spot? We left the waiter a good tip, because it wasn’t his fault and he was very nice. I am still in shock that we paid that much for a meal that was so bad. I really liked the resort other than that. I’ll update my review later. …
The Resort was clean and attractive. More than one pool. Also had a hot tub. Wonderful for the children as the pool had a water part to it. Food in the restaurant was excellent staff friendly. The shop had a good selection. The Apartment was large, clean and well kept. En-suite and utility room with washing machine & tumble dryer. The en-suite also had a drying area. The staff were friendly and helpful. My family & I would highly recommend this hotel & we would definitely go back.
We enjoyed our stay. The suite was super spacious. My husband and in-laws drink a good amount of coffee and there was only 1 very small coffee pot. We asked for another one to be brought up and received it promptly. If you plan on doing any laundry or dishes, I do recommend bringing some tide pods/dryer sheets and dishwasher pods just because they can be pricey in the market. I also wasn't expecting to not have daily room cleanings but it wasn't an issue. It's more of how you would expect an airbnb stay to be. We did get our trash taken out daily and towels were brought upon request. Unfortunately is was a bit chilly for us to enjoy the splash zone. The water was very cold. And the hot tub area was full every time we tried to use it but we did get in the main pool and springs pools one day and enjoyed how much room we had. The main thing I did have an issue with was the "Premium Poolside Seating" we reserved and paid $80 a day for. When we arrived, we had to ask for ice. We never got an introduction from a server and had to flag him down to place an order. I was disappointed in this and it takes a bit to get me let down with service. He did say that some people had called out but he was waiting on ALL the guests at the pool. There was only us and another family with the "Premium Poolside Seating" so I expected to be made somewhat of a priority. Another positive was the free bus service to Magic Kingdom. I believe it goes to other parks but we used it once for Magic Kingdom and it saved us a good amount by not having to Uber. The food from Longboard was not great, I have to say. But we really enjoyed Valencia. We ate dinner there twice. Nothing but great things to say about the food and service there. …
Sebastian was the best server I’ve ever had! So friendly! The restaurant has a great food selection for everyone and their lifestyle! The mahi mahi is what we’re having for dinner tomorrow night. So excited!
