Alright I don't know old school Florida, but this suite made me IMAGINE that's what it must have been like. The colors, the art, the sand all over the floor when we left, all made us feel like we truly were on a beach getaway, minus the overbearing resort full of people. We spent two nights in January of 2014,...

Looking forward to our annual girls weekend at Captiva Island Inn. With charming bungalows, we can stay connected all weekend enjoying the tropical scenery, yummy food, beautiful nature and entertaining venues all within a walk or short drive. In my opinion it's even better than the Keys with immediate access to the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico beaches. Having kitchens and...

My husband and I decided to rent the Daisy cottage due to the close proximity to the beach and other attractions. For the price we paid I was not expecting much. The cottage needs a major overhaul. The room was small, had an old TV that rarely worked, as well as a fridge. The closet area had a lot of...

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon in mid June. The cottage that we stayed in was called Birds of Paradise. It has kind of an African theme to it. First impressions were good, as far as I could tell it was the only stand alone building they have. After being there for awhile we noticed it could...

I stayed here in 2010 with some girlfriends and we enjoyed our stay. Loved the old floridian island feel of the cottages. We are heading back this December to stay for four nights before we move into our rented condo on Sanibel. I can't wait to show my husband Captiva and the Captiva Island village treasures!

We just left from a 2 night stay in the Daisy cottage. I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay and this place filled the Bill. Can't beat the price, especially since it included breakfast. Location was awesome, staff at the inn and participating restaurants were helpful and pleasant. Chairs and umbrellas and walking distance to the beach....can't beat...

This place is the best! We found this gem of a place first in November 2013 and then stayed again in June 2014. We absolutely love the old Florida vibe in Captiva, and we stayed both times in the individual cottages. Both times we did not have reservations, just walked in and were given a great nightly rate of just...

Awesome customer service. Great central location, and you can't beat the free breakfast anywhere else. Rooms are clean and cozy, and they made us feel like family there. We stayed in the Perrywinkle loft for our honeymoon and it was exactly what we expected. You can walk to the beach and some shops. We will be back. A special thanks...

Funky enjoyable location. We stayed 4 nights. Only minor complaint is WiFi access ( maybe good actually) and sand. I understand the beach is sandy but no facilities on beach or cottage to shower off outside. We used a water hose by the pool in the grass a couple of days but the hose disappeared our last day. Getting sand...

Had a nice stay here with the family. Was good to have a detached bungalow at a reasonable price. Booked relatively early and noticed prices were much more later on. Bungalow was clean, bedroom and kitchen fine, sofa bed and a few bits of furniture and fittings a bit worse for wear. Location absolutely brilliant, stonethrow from gorgeous beach, restaurants...
