This isn't a 5 star resort in any sense and it's not a modern fancy spot, but what it lacks in modernity it makes up in location and charm. We stayed in one of the cottages and had a German shepherd with us. The cottage was quaint and beach themed. The breakfast options were great as you can go to...

My husband and I stayed in a cottage for two nights. When I checked and smelled major dog smell from the 150lb dog in the office, I had a feeling I was in trouble. It was very run down and in need of major overhaul. If you demand at least as much from your lodging as you find in your...

I have been to Captiva many times but had never stayed on the island. I was pleasantly surprised with the cottage we stayed in at the Captiva Island Inn. Friendly service, adorable beachy cottage, close to everything. We could see ocean on both sides of the island from the parking lot. Next door to coffee shop, Key Lime Bistro, shops...

Booking through discount websites its hard to know what you are really getting. I had no idea that I would have my own bungalow complete with 2 free breakfasts a day in which I could order anything including a drink! Both restaurants were pleasant, had great staff and good food! The unit had heaters which I needed the first 2...

Stayed on the second floor in the Lantana Suite in the main building. Simply cannot beat the location overlooking the main street. The room was quaint and cottage like and did not have a lot of amenities. There were no lamps in the living room or bedroom and upon request they did deliver 2 lamps. TV in the bedroom is...

We spent 2 nights in the Daisy cottage after Christmas and enjoyed the entire stay! Location was perfect! The breakfasts were fabulous...the room had a microwave and small frig for snacks...quaint room and we enjoyed being away from any noise.

I am pleased to say that there has been a noticeable and much needed change to the inn since a year ago! The cottages are cleaner, things are getting repaired and or replaced and there have been upgrades made to the decor. Even the outside appearance is in better shape. Our bed and pillows were comfortable and we loved the...

We spent two nights in Hannah's Room. The hotel is in a very convenient, central location of the island. Close to many shops and restaurants. Our room was clean and furnished nicely but the mildew smell was hard to ignore. The common areas of the second floor (where our room was located) had a very strong odor.

Our room was upgraded by a very nice lady behind the check-in counter and we ended up with a great unit that had a balcony out on the main dray (if you call it a main drag). Restaurants all around and it includes breakfast at 2 of the places next door and across the street! Music every night and a...

We stayed at Captiva island Inn Nov 16-20 and had a wonderful stay! We were visiting my parents in Fort Myers but escaped to the island to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary and my husbands birthday. Our cottage was Hibiscus and it was perfect for us..Great King size bed and comfortable! .The private cottage was just what we like...
