Wow... this was such a pleasant surprise. We got cancelled at our regular hotel in Naples due to the hurricane and rather than cancel we booked here and honestly were not expecting much. This place is spotlessly clean, rooms and resort. The staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble for the cleaners, front desk or concierge. Free shuttle service and chairs for the beach which is only a mile away. Breakfast is included and lovely terrace to sit and relax and start the day. Fantastic location to be able to walk to the shops and restaurants and the free shuttle also takes you to the bigger shopping centre. Rooms are spacious with a good size fridge and as they dont have their own restaurant on site they are more than happy if you want to use their tables to eat your lunch dinner that you might bring in. Highly recommend this place and it deserves more stars for the price

We have been staying at the Inn at Pelican Bay for decades. It is our favorite accommodation in Naples, FL. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. This boutique hotel is charming in so many ways. Over the last few years, one of the best reasons for staying there has been their guitarist Nikola. He entertains at breakfast most days and gets our day off to a beautiful start as he is incredibly talented and plays a wide range of favorites. His personality adds to the fun. Besides the great reception staff, this visit we appreciated the daily welcome from Krenar the concierge, Anna who keeps breakfast humming, Marilyn's great omelettes and our special appreciation for Noah who helped with all the arrangements for this trip. This time my wife and I had the pleasure of staying for 4 days and got to use the wonderful pool and even got over to the beach for a swim. Naples is a beautiful city and the Inn at Pelican Bay is a crowning jewel. We can't wait to return.

My overall experience was delightful. Krenar, the bellman, played a key role in shuttling me back and forth to beautuful Vanderbilt Beach and providing beach chairs and umbrellas. He was pleasant, timely, and always smiling making sure I had the information and supplies for a great time. Thank you Krenar! The Inn breakfast was full of choices including freshly cooked eggs, the rooms are good size with hardwood and tile floors (no rugs which I love for cleanliness) and the housekeeping staff was present and smiling. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will return.

We stumbled upon The Inn at Pelican Bay after a somewhat unfortunate last minute mishap with travel plans...and boy are we glad we did!! We knew very little about what we were getting our family into with a currently teething and occasionally fussy 12 months old. From the moment we arrived the staff greeted us with warm smiles and kinds words, even allowing us an early check in so we could tackle a much needed nap time. The room was perfectly spacious for our rambunctious toddler to roam and we really appreciated the tile floors for sandy beach days. Each morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with made-to-order omelets and a strawberry frosted donut fit for a king. Later in the day, Jeff the bartender was just the friendly face we needed on a Saturday night!

But the highlight of our trip would have to be Krenar the bellman, like so many other reviewers on this page. His exceptional service and attention to detail are what make a luxury hotel. From getting our family to the beach daily with all the necessary equipment, to even going above and beyond racing back to the beach one morning to pick us up off-schedule when a scary storm cloud suddenly appeared.

We will miss Krenar and all the staff at the Inn at Pelican Bay who provided us with all of the comforts of home while away from home and we can't wait to visit them again!

I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a quiet place to stay in Naples that is very close to the beach and has excellent service. The rooms were clean, we loved the pool that was actually really heated, and I recommend you stay on the side with the fountain view as it was quite peaceful. We originally planned to stay one night, but had to extend our stay two more nights. While the hotel was sold out, Maureen at the front desk bent over backwards to get us another room. Jeff at the bar was awesome also. In addition, the breakfast included an omelette station and other standard fair. The outside seating for breakfast was lovely. I was so pleasantly surprised. There are more expensive hotels in Naples and there are cheaper ones, but we were very pleased with our stay and feel very relaxed as we are at the airport heading home.

It is a very nice hotel with great breakfast offer. Breakfast is included in the resort fee ($39.95 per night per room), and there are towels, sun loungers and umbrellas to take to the beach. To the beach you are driven with the hotel shuttle service and also picked up again. All you have to do is call the hotel and within 5 minutes you will be picked up. Parking is more than adequate. The Mercato Mall with its numerous restaurants and shops can be reached on foot within 10 minutes.

The Inn at Pelican Bay is centrally located and very close to Vanderbuilt Beach (less than 1 mile).

Right around the corner and within walking distance are good restaurants, a drugstore and a supermarket as well as the public library.

Not included in the price is a resort fee of US$ 30 per day, but this includes a lot:
- free shuttle service to the nearby beaches or shopping centers.
- beach chairs and umbrellas (as well as towels)
- free bike rental.
- free parking

The rooms are large and beautifully decorated in a maritime style - very clean!

The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful - we really felt at home.

The breakfast (accompanied by subtle live guitar music) was fresh with an egg dish counter (freshly prepared) as well as various types of bread, cereal, yogurt as well as a waffle iron and pancake machine. In short, opulent by American standards.

We enjoyed staying here and can recommend the hotel without reservation.

My wife and I stayed at the Inn at Pelican Bay in January 2025. I picked this hotel based on the superior reviews and awards on Trip Advisor as being the # 1 hotel in Florida. I compared it to a couple of others and selected it for its location.

Our arrival was uneventful as it is perfectly located on Vanderbilt Beach road near HWY 41 in North Naples. There was plenty of free parking and the check-in was professionally done.

However on arrival to our room, we began to notice several flaws which we never see in top rated Trip Advisor hotels. First off I noticed the Mini- Refrigerator door in the sideboard would not come close to closing due to the apparent incorrect size of the refrigerator. Next my wife looked in the tiny bathroom area and exclaimed there was only one sink and little storage underneath. The closet doors opposite the sink left little room at the sink when opened.

Next I noted splotches of paint on the furniture and on everything that wasn't taped off in the last painting. Obviously it was not a professional job. There were many chips and defects on the furniture as well.

The toilet shower area was fine with excellent shower control and amenities. The biggest problem in there was the one wall switch which controlled a very loud fan along with the light without separate controls.

The porch was very nice and had comfortable chairs and space for 2 people and shade where needed. The TV worked fine but the remote probably needed batteries as it was weak. Wifi was very good everywhere on site and is included in the extra fee.

The bed was comfortable with good pillows. Housekeeping was adequate and came early when I requested it. The elevator worked well until the 2nd day of our trip when it failed. We had to use another elevator in the other wing of the building until the end of our trip when it still had not been fixed. The concierge was not even aware that our elevator was out.

We did not use the van service to the beach or shopping since we had a car. Breakfast was much better than I had expected with an omlet , egg and bacon chef , wonderful fruit , cereal and pastries.

All in all a good visit to a lovely city. I just wish the quality of the hotel had lived up to the many great reviews on Trip Advisor.

We booked three nights through Hotels.com as I had some gift cards to use up.
Room rate was over $600 per night before taxes and a resort fee charged at checkout.

Hotel is very nice, comfortable rooms and clean. Pelican Bay describes the area, you are not on a bay. The ocean is about 1.3 miles away. There are shuttles to the beach. The hotel is on a pond and there is a small pool.

Here are my nitpicks that keep this from being a higher rating and largely based on the price per night. Breakfast does not include any hot foods other than an omelet station. No eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.

Not even a complementary bottle of water. Large bottle in the room was $6 or you can buy a small bottle at the desk for $2.

Air conditioner in the room was very loud when the compressor kicked in.

When I compare these amenities to a Holiday Inn Express we stayed in for one night at 1/4 the cost: breakfast was better, free bottle of water, and a/c was very quiet.

Other than check in and check out, we really did not have any contact with staff. So can't comment too much on service. Housekeeping was fine.

At the end of the day, fairly expensive for what you got.

The Inn at Pelican Bay was the perfect Naples get-away for my lady and me. The location is away from the busy downtown area, and our room overlooked a nice pond with palm trees and birds relaxing on the branches.

The Inn's stately facilities, amenities, helpful staff and ambience made us feel so welcome and relaxed. Our room was large and well appointed. The breakfast food/beverage selections and dining ambience were perhaps the best I've seen at any hotel. We'll be returning!
