I found the Hotel to be dated. They have the gumption to charge for internet service in a day and age where small hotels provide for free. Breakfast is across the street and expensive. The restaurant was on the main property and pricey (more places...More
We arrived today in time for a lovely sunset. We sat in the pool area with a couple of beers but our enjoyment was spoiled by someone (a guest presumably) playing their own music which clashed with the rather loud music coming from the hotel’s...More
This is a great hotel with very helpful staff. The Sunset bar is right on the beach and is a great place to hang out. The pool is set up very well with its own bar. The rooms are very clean and quiet. I am...More

Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club is on Naples Beach near Lowdermilk Park in old Naples and not far from the Pier. La Playa is by Vanderbilt beach, several miles away. I would suggest calling the Naples Beach Hotel for specific room information. It appeared that most rooms were similarly decorated and laid out with a few exceptions and without a lot of online photos available. Naples Beach Hotel is classic, old Florida. It’s nice, but not opulent. For those who plan to spend time on the beach the best rooms are those on the ground floor and facing the beach—there aren’t many of those with a direct view. I thought the beach facing units of the Cabana building looked the best for beachfront access and room to store beach stuff outside the door. The main building has the store, gift shop and front desk and the other buildings aren’t connected to it. Because each building is slightly different, I’d recommend calling the hotel directly and ask if they’ll help identify the correct room along with providing photos and a detailed location on a hotel map.

You would have to contact Florid la fish game and wildlife to see what the red tide is in the area that’s what I would do locally I live in northeast And that is what I would do locally here to make sure it’s OK to eat shellfish or clamming. That would be my best bet is to contact the local authorities in your area to see about the red tide. Good luck
