We must be in the relative dungeon because our room is nothing like the reviews here. We are in the Patio building. No elevator and no one at the front desk told us we would have to carry our bags upstairs. I feel for those who have bad knees or hips. The room itself is tired.

We had a fantastic trip to Naples Beach and Golf Resort. It is a wonderful place for families! What sets this resort apart is the amazing service from the momment you arrive and are greeted at the door and front desk to the restaurants and service staff. What compelled me to

They have a band playing, every Sunday, in the evening. It's a good place to listen to the music, grab a bite at the walk-up bar and enjoy the sunset. It can be very crowded during Feb thru March. Get there early for a good place to plop down. They also have a restaurant

Are there any dress code restrictions in the hotel restaurants?
Hello Hugh0525 Main Restaurant is neat casual. Poolside for daytime snacks is laid back, covered pool ware. Enjoy!

Hello, depends on your ultimate usage. For us (we have stayed here two weeks at a time on four occasions) hire car was the better option. It gave us total independence, especially in the evenings after spending the day at the resort around the pool and on the beach. Fifth Avenue is great for restaruants and specialty shops so is Twelfth Avenue. Nordstrom Rack, Sacks Off Fifth and Macys are all closeby and having a car makes getting there easy. Enjoy!

Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club is on Naples Beach near Lowdermilk Park in old Naples and not far from the Pier. La Playa is by Vanderbilt beach, several miles away. I would suggest calling the Naples Beach Hotel for specific room information. It appeared that most rooms were similarly decorated and laid out with a few exceptions and without a lot of online photos available. Naples Beach Hotel is classic, old Florida. It’s nice, but not opulent. For those who plan to spend time on the beach the best rooms are those on the ground floor and facing the beach—there aren’t many of those with a direct view. I thought the beach facing units of the Cabana building looked the best for beachfront access and room to store beach stuff outside the door. The main building has the store, gift shop and front desk and the other buildings aren’t connected to it. Because each building is slightly different, I’d recommend calling the hotel directly and ask if they’ll help identify the correct room along with providing photos and a detailed location on a hotel map.

You would have to contact Florid la fish game and wildlife to see what the red tide is in the area that’s what I would do locally I live in northeast And that is what I would do locally here to make sure it’s OK to eat shellfish or clamming. That would be my best bet is to contact the local authorities in your area to see about the red tide. Good luck
